Ravens acquire Josh Wilson in trade with Seahawks

The Baltimore Ravens have added a cornerback to their paper-thin secondary.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Ravens traded a conditional fifth-round pick to the Seahawks for cornerback Josh Wilson. The pick could become a fourth-rounder, depending on how many games Wilson starts in Baltimore.

Wilson started 12 games in each of the last two seasons for the Seahawks.

(I know this could be in news but since we need corners so bad..)

    Antoine Winfield disagrees with you.

I'd trade ANY of the 5-11+ CB's that TT has EVER drafted for us, right now, for the little smurf Winfield.

There aren't too many CB/SS that are worth a damn on the open market, or you are going to pay a fortune for one in draft pick compensation. At least that is what I'm telling myself to keep from panicking.

Yeah, Winfield's a hitter. Too bad he's done.

He'd done? That's good for us.
    If it were true.
I think he picked off Rodgers last year.

Lisfranc injury to his foot last year. Players are rarely back to "normal" after that injury. We'll see.

Seattle were #29 against the pass last year. Wilson was a starter.

Now, I do think he's a good football player. But let's not pretend we lost on some incredible player...

Alphonso Smith was given up for nothing too. He's small too and had been a huge bust though. Be nice to at least grab one more okay guy for depth over Bush or something though.
