    NBA Finals

    Wade vs Harris

    Some Wisconsin background's going on.

Plus Miami vs Dallas is a hell of a match up

It has to be world cup. It's once very 4 years, and honestly I am tired of staying up late waiting for NBA finals to finish.

Stanley Cup, but I do follow all the others except college baseball. If they started using real bats maybe, but until then I'll pass.

For me its the World Cup first, then Stanley Cup 2nd (Go Canes, by the way). I grew up loving the NBA, but the game has deteriorated so bad the past few years that its almost unwatchable

MLB (Jays are in it for the first time in a while) and the Stanley Cup playoffs. I can't seem to get used to all of the penalties being called in playoff games, but the hockey is very fast paced and exciting.

I went to the Jays/Tigers game yesterday afternoon. Detroit has a much better Pitching staff than I thought. That reliever whose name starts with a "Z" (I'd had half a dozen beer by the time he got in so I can't remember) was absolutely outstanding yesterday.

    Joel Zumaya.
The dude throws nothing but fire. I haven't seen anybody throw like that consistantly since Nolan Ryan.
Of course this guy only comes out of the pen for 1 to 3 innings.

He'll start eventually though. Guys with that kind of arm don't come along very often.

The Brewers just drafted a friend of my son in the 31st round, Bryson, RHP. Will probably go JUCO. Kind of a knucklehead but if someone can straighten him out he has a hell of an arm.

MLB,I am a fan of the Mets since the 60's. They look really good this year. They play the phillies for three games, and it will be on tv.
We are having a birthday party for a friend who turns 90,and he is a phillies fan.We all got together at the American Legion and got him a phillies coat with 90 on the back with his name, and hopefully the phillies will anounce his name and age on tv. :towel: :cross:
