I am hopeful that our first four picks will be cap friendly for several years.

It is just that ARod was hurt, the line sucked and imo the routes we ran were unsatisfactory due to coaching.

The starting offensive line was actually pretty good in pass protection last season and I expect them to perform at a pretty high level in 2019 once again. Quality depth is definitely an issue though.

just off the top of my head the cowboys happen to have a good mlb who's expendable now for a one year rental at about the same price as daniels (also free in a year). dallas could also use a starting dt. would anyone object to a lee for daniels straight up trade?

The Packers shouldn't be interested in trading for Lee as he is way past his prime and has missed way more games than Daniels over the past few years.

Rodgers needs to play at a great level, and we need to create more turnovers on defense.
And GB needs to protect Rodgers. There are a lot of new faces in the OL group. Here’s hoping a few step up and this unit tightens up. They aren’t that far away.

Turner will most likely be the only new starter on the offensive line entering the season.

more turn overs would be great, especially in the int/dr dept (ranked 30th) but how about lowering the % teams scored td's. Packers D allowed a td 25% of the time ranking 23rd in the league. getting into the top 1/3 of the league would be massive.

One thing not mentioned yet...the coaches all need to be good.

1.Graham has to play better and be used more effectively in the offense. No way does the offense prosper without real contributions from the TE position.
2.Either Jackson, Kenny King or both need to step up their game. Alexander will be the best cb on the team, but the other side can't be a liability.
3.Better play from the guards. With the infusion of Turner and Jenkins, the guard position needs to keep the pocket clean or it will be a long season. I expect that to happen.
4.The Smiths need to earn their huge paychecks. Gute is paying them to be consistent pass rushers. Its a big if and will likely determine if the team is a mediocre 8-8, 9-7 kind of team, or a 11-5, 12-4 type of team that is a real threat in the playoffs.

Another place that has to better is special teams. Those pathetic units cost two losses last year. That can't happen again!

ST has a bigger impact than we know.
A good ST can put a team over the top (see 1997 playoffs) while a undisciplined ST unit can ruin an entire season (see 2015 playoffs)

Turnovers leads to better numbers in that department.

9/10 times if a team handidly wins the turnover margin, they win the game.
