Putting Hawk in instead of Chillar is a very big difference, especially containing the cutback. Kampman and Jenkins are very solid on the corners and the best DL's in the league aren't going to change a game that much more than Pickett or Jolly would. Most interior defensive linemen are interchangeable, as long as they are productive. Pickett and Jolly are more than adequate and being able to move Jenkins over on passing downs and letting KGB in helps our 3rd down pass rush a ton. There's no reason to expect this defense to be worse than last year, if anything the experience gained by Hawk, Bigby, and Collins will help the defense out even more. We have play makers at every position on defense, it's hard to not include us in the top 5 right now.</p></blockquote><p></p>
