Very cool:).

I got to see Favre play his first college game 20+ years ago at USM. Looks like I got to see another Favre First this past weekend.

BTW, this was my first trip to Lambeau and it exceeded my expectations. Great town, great fans and a great performance by the Pac. I'm already planning a group trip for next year.

He must be loosening up. He was never against it but he use to just say he didn't see the point. Good for the hillbilly. In fact that wasn't much of a leap. I'd call it a hillbilly hop! LOL

Can You Imagine.

Just think for a moment........

Can you imagine how incredible it would be to have Brett leap in your seat.

The opportunity to pat him on the shoulder pads. To hear him yell as he leaped.

That would be a KODAC moment if one could get that on film.

Hell even if you were there and did not get it on film it would be a memory.

For a very few it was somehtnig they will talk about forever.

I would spill beer on his helmet. Then lick it off.

Probably scream like a shoolgirl as well.

They needed more people to pull him up. It was pretty funny. He pretty much just ran and slammed into the wall. They should build some steps for the guy or maybe a trampoline!!! How cool would that be??

That was Brett's first rushing TD in 5 years, he is usually just putting the ball into the hands of the guys doing "The Leap".
Anyone know the last time Brett ran one in "at Lambeau" before last Sunday? Could be "The Leap" hadn't been invented yet.

Long time coming
Favre's rushing touchdown in the third quarter, a 1-yard scramble, was his first in nearly five full years, and he celebrated by making his first-ever Lambeau Leap into the south end zone stands.

Favre's last rushing TD came on Dec. 3, 2001, at Jacksonville. He now has 13 rushing touchdowns in his career.

"When he did it, everybody was jumping up, hugging and clapping, and he gets to me and I look at him, and I said, 'Don't even try to give me a high-five. Go do a Lambeau Leap,'" Driver said. "He turns around, smiles, and I didn't think he was going to do it, and he went up there and jumped. I was just going nuts because I knew that was his first one."

Favre said: "I hope it's the last one."

It wasn't the most dynamic jump into the crowd, and some of his teammates gave him grief for it. Favre made a rookie mistake of sorts, going toward the stands by the corner of the end zone where the wall is higher than it is closer to the goal post.

"I tried to go over that same fence a couple years ago and failed so I can't really say anything about it," David Martin said.

Favre made Larry Bird seem like Air Jordan! I hope he does more. It sure gives the team/fans an incredible buzz watching him have that much fun.
