One major shift was Middle to Upper Middle Class migrated out of downtown during and post pandemic. They had the means and capacity to do that. The Low income “rental” demographic stayed intact. The City had some nice growth pure population wise, amid a major Statewide population exit. CA has literally went backwards in population recently and that’s a 180 degree reversal from a decade + ago. Nevada, Texas and Florida make up a large % of their lost census.</blockquote>
