UW-Stevens Point wins Divsion III Men's Basketball National Championship

The Pointers of UW-Stevens Point captured the school's third Division III National Title today with a 78-73 victory over Williams College (Mass.). The Pointers also defeated Williams in 2005 by a score of 84-82 to win the second of back-to-back national titles.

The UW-Stevens Point roster features 14 of its 15 players from the state of Wisconsin. Matt Moses led the way for Point with 22 points and 7 rebounds. He atoned for a late turnover by knocking down four key free throws down the stretch.
