It was speculated Burress was disappointed that, as he entered the final year of his contract, he was not offered a new deal. "Like I told him, I wish he would have at least called me last year in the offseason," Cowher said. "I said, 'I understand what you were doing; I didn't agree with it, but just call me.' We kind of laughed about it."</p><p></p><p><span style="font-size: 26px">Randy watch:</span></p><p></p><p>The Baltimore Ravens <u>deny</u> there have been discussions with the Minnesota Vikings about trading for controversial receiver Randy Moss, but Deion Sanders is certainly intrigued by the Moss-to-Baltimore rumors.</p><p></p><p>Sanders, who came out of retirement to join the Ravens this season, said he would be more inclined to return to the team if Moss were added. "That would really encourage me to play," Sanders told James Brown while appearing on his Sporting News Radio show.</p><p></p><p></p><p>The extremely talented Moss drew intense criticism for leaving the sideline with two seconds remaining in the season finale against the Washington Redskins and for his "faux mooning" of Green Bay Packers fans during a playoff-opening victory at Lambeau Field.</p><p></p><p>Sanders thinks he and linebacker Ray Lewis would be good influences for Moss. "I think we can help him, not only on the field but off the field and let him see the big picture," Sanders said. McCombs, a San Antonio businessman who bought the 44-year-old franchise in 1998, was not specific.</p><p></p><p>The Star Tribune of Minneapolis reported Tuesday that McCombs recently entered a short-term exclusive negotiating deal with Arizona entrepreneur Reggie Fowler.</p><p></p><p>"None of the media reports concerning the potential sale of the Vikings are correct," read McCombs' statement. </p><p></p><p>Fowler, who was in Minneapolis on Monday, told reporters at the Timberwolves game that he was house-hunting in the area and actively trying to complete a purchase of the team.</p><p></p><p>Fowler, who is black, would be the NFL's first minority owner. </p><p></p><p>Pro Bowl changes:</p><p></p><p>Atlanta Falcons return specialist Allen Rossum was selected to the NFC squad Wednesday as an injury replacement for Detroit's Eddie Drummond (shoulder). </p><p></p><p><em><span style="color: yellow">Allen out there making Sherman look bad?
