Gute could easily afford to grab a second QB early in 2022 or 2023 with all that firepower.You could have not one but two day 1 draft level QB’s competing for the starting role. It would essentially double the probability of landing a capable starter. It would also give us a nice temporary contingency plan there at QB. Not to mention we’d have the ability of eventually trading our #2 QB (who could have a 5th year option) and investing at another position. It’s no different than a team using the draft to acquire one,  but they’d get a QB with a year of camp and preseason to look at.</blockquote>
