Hmn... Hard to do a top 10.

I'll give you my top 3
Barry Sanders is my #1 (He just had NOTHING with him, and did everything. If he had played as long as the others, he'd have all the records.)
Jim Brown #2 (The most complete RB of all time)
Walter Payton #3 (Yeah, it's a bear, but this guy was just too good)

Barry chocked in almost every big game he played in. That reason alone I can not put him #1. But he is the best college RB of all time without a doubt. He had the best season of any college player of all time.

Cmon, working with Charlie Batch and Joey Harrington and you call him a choker?

    And they almost beat us.

I'm assuming you are talking about the LIONS in the 90's when they were in the playoffs.. which in my opinion their defense chocked... i mean every playoff game besides one against the Cowboys 91' they lost, and except for the two times the Packers beat them, their defense gave up +25 pts....Every year Sanders played he got over 1,100 yards... despite having a bad offense.

    1 Barry Sanders
    2 Walter Payton
3 Jim Brown or Earl Campbell...

    What about Bo, or Davis?

You must have more than one or two good seasons to make top 10. Gale makes it based on the fact that people older than me still claim he was the best they ever saw. I could see Johnson making it in the 9th or 10th spot some day but it will be awhile.

In 6 playoff appearances Sanders scored 1... 1!!!...touchdown. Now if he ran for 200 yards and two scores and lost thats a different story but Barry never could turn it on when it mattered the most. Only 1 time did he run for over 70 yards in a playoff game. Against the packers he was held to -1 yard in the playoffs in 1994.

I think Sanders only played with Batch for one season and never played with Harrington.
