Redshirt junior outside linebacker Tom Keiser will enter the NFL Draft, the Cardinal football program announced Thursday. Keiser is an academic senior, but had one year of eligibility remaining. Keiser played the first two seasons of his Stanford career at defensive end before switching to linebacker in the Cardinal’s new 3-4 alignment. He was a first team freshman All American in 2008, and tallied 19.5 sacks in 38 career games, including 27 as a starter. - Wyndam Makowsky, The Stanford Daily

Keiser, at 6-5, 244 has the size to compete at OLB at the next level. He will even be considered as a 4-3 DE prospect for some teams. His biggest downside is his lack of overall speed in comparison to other prospects due to his estimated 40 time of 4.84e. He is the #10 junior OLB prospect and could go as high as the 4th round.
