Broncos are 6-0. Peyton has thrown 7 TDs & 10 INTs. So at what point do you sit Peyton? You win & loose as a team but it b/c of their D they're 6-0. Yes the Packers D has saved us as well but Rodgers & our offense move the ball & avg about 2.5-3 TDs a game.

He sure has. His throws seem to float in slow-motion. It's stunning how much velocity he has lost.

I think if the Broncos were 0-6, Brock Osweiler would be their starter. Throw all stats out the window when your team is 6-0. Manning may not have the stats, but he has the leadership and chemistry, something Brock may not have yet. Plus, Manning has a pretty damn good defense to bail him out.

For those of you old enough to possibly have witnessed this yourselves, Willie Mays finished his career playing in New York for the Mets. During his last year as an active player during one Nationally televised game that I saw on TV Mays rounded second base and did a face-plant. His legs just seemed to give out from under him. The mind was willing but the legs no longer could keep-up. It was a wince-worthy moment and really difficult to witness of an all-time iconic figure. I remember that play as much as "The Catch."

Manning may be closer to this type of embarrassment than he is to throwing the ball like a multiple MVP winner. He's beating teams alright, but not without a whole lot of help from that D with a little bit of luck also in the mix. Based upon what I have seen of his play so far this season (thanks to the NFL Sunday Ticket), this should represent his curtain call, if he's not a year too late already. That arm is nowhere near capable of doing what it once routinely could do. IMHO he is no longer be capable of carrying a team on his back the way he once had been able to do. Watching his QB play defies that 6-0 record. Denver has a hell of a defense.

only way peyton sits, is if he sits his self. No one has the balls to sit him.

Sounds much like DD80's final year. Should have been #4-5 receiver.

Peyton is a game manager at this point. Something that can be successful with their defense. But the lack of a run game and the turnovers points to bad play as a game manager. Perhaps they should trade for Alex Smith.
