Shurmur knew how to shut down the 9'ers...and that proved to be accurate.  Holmgren's record against his old team was 5-1, 6-0 if you reconfigure history and call the Jerry Rice turnover what it was ... a drive stopping fumble. Shurmur had EVERYTHING to do with that. Long drawn out illustration used because I firmly believe that divisional games are going to swing either way...and McCarthy's crazy record of 11-1 over the last two years in the North is quirky... but, the 9'ers losing to a divisional rival...in this case, the Rams...well, has no bearing on tonight's game.</blockquote>
