My anti-driver bias is because he was a jerk to me.

Specifically?

That shouldn't affect other people's persona of him, after all, he is playing a character on tv when you think about it, the better image he crafts the better it is for him.

Sorry, but DD doesn't play a character. When I lived in GB, I had two opportunities to exchange pleasantries with him, and he was a very nice guy both times. Maybe he was having a bad day or something.
