You might have caught it but he mentioned how teams (and fans) love to believe that if their team comes up short it's just something to build on for the next season. And I'm sure that's true in some ways, but it's far from guaranteed. I mean, look no further than our own season. I think most fans felt like we were "ahead of schedule" last year and would have a promising platform to build on in 2024/25. Then Love got hurt week 1 and you could argue on the whole we either stagnated or regressed from last season.</p></blockquote><p></p>
