Hey I tried searching for one but didn't find anything in the last four or five pages.

So what beer do you drink? What beer do you hate? Recommend a beer to a friend? This is spot to talk about our favourite blends of barley, hops, and malts.

Personally I like Lagers. I just find them refreshing. A good pilsner will not get turned down either. Not a big ale drinker on average, but must admit when they are done right they can be spectacular.

My current favourite beer is Robert Simpson Confederation Ale (ironic). It is brewed out of Barrie, Ontario Canada and is very limited in its distribution. I hope any Ontario posters will give this a try. It is an ale which goes down smoother than most lagers and pilsners. No preservatives and an Award winner.

My least favourite beer is Bud. I don't know if it is the perservatives or what, but Bud reeks havoc on my stomach. A night on the Bud means a day on the Throne.

Recommended beers would be Tusker out of Kenya which is beautifully crisp beer which will leaving you wanting a dozen more and Zywiec out of Poland.

More to follow if any of you are interested. Being from Wisconsin I hope many of you are.

My cousin told me (I don't know if it's true or not) that the reason Bud makes people sick and gives them headaches is that they age it using formaldihide. THat way it doesn't take very long.

Me, I like Rolling Rock beer. It's smooth, and yummy!

This is Wisconsin, by 16 you are a seasoned drinker ;)

    Domestic Beer... Coors Light

Moosehead is another that I enjoy from time to time. Beck's..

Heineken is always a good choice.

There was a bar back in the day in Green Bay at the end of main street, for the life of me can't remember the name of the joint. Anyway.. you could join a club and drink beer from around the world and after so many you got a t-shirt and whatnot.

Anyway.. I blame them for my drinking problem

A "seasoned" drinker is one who has salt and pepper poured on them while they are drinking.

    Yeah.......THATS it!!!

    NO! I wasn't being serious!!!
A seasoned drinker only means someone that has been drinking for quite awhile, and is very good at it.
I keep forgetting that how we say things here are not the same in England!

My attempted joke was using the word "seasoned", as if seasoning say, a steak or something. Thus the "salt and pepper" joke.

Moosehead is a great beer. I am happy to hear that it is getting distribution in the States, and you are not just receiving Molson and Labbat products from Canada.

There is a pub here in Ottawa that used to have over a 1000 beers on their beer menu from around the world. It used to be broken down by country. Now I believe they trimmed their menu in half and you have to look thing up by beer type (ie Ale, Lager, etc). It is still a nice place to spend an evening. No free t-shirts unfortunately.

I can't say anything bad about Budweiser, because I know some people who work there and they take good care of their employees. I'll just say I don't drink it. ;)

Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, Guinness. Those are my 3 beers. I'll drink random microbrews and every once in awhile, find something I like.

    1. New Glarus Spotted Cow
    2. Leinenkugel Honey Weiss
    3. Sprecher Amber
    4. Leinenkugel Summer Shandy
    5. Leinenkugel Big Butt

Spotted Cow pretty much always stays at # 1, the others rotate depending on the season and my mood.

    Almost forgot 1a. Free Beer
