As well as others in this thread that continues to hound the gent.
Let him post as he does, has anyone taken into account that there might be a language barrier or cultural upbringing that may account for how you view the man?
The constant badgering of this poster is out of line in my book.. If you don't like what he posts... avoid the posts... he uses the same name every time.
Your positive diplomatic remarks are appreciated. However, those isolated individuals are understandable considering human nature and little pecking orders in an extremely competitive & paranoid culture. Lonely wanna bes individuals, e.g. college students, in a mass society who only have their little senior pecking status on a electronic video medium reflect a boob tube "kindergarten culture" upbringing. Yet, your are right considering my popularity on other Packer fan forums without this pointless nonsense. I cannot explain it in simple language, but your view is good enough for here, especially their humble pie games. Unless these isolated individuals can be civil, I say be amused while ignoring them.
P.S. Echoes coming. You will see laughable competitive pecking order posturing from the worst examples of any forum involving negatively cycled repeated reactions containing hilarious amateur noise & carp, e.g. "I see your point...." or "What language barriers?" or "I am just curious...." remarks. The same will go on the same way.

DEJA VU.
I never thought of him. You might have a good one there!Pat Richter would be my man for the job.
Packnic said:i couldnt give a rats *** what he has written. anyone who brags like that about himself is obviously a tool. i havent said a word about him and he post info that enables me to read without lookin it up.... and i appreciate it .
but damn how lame are you when you come on an internet forum and brag about how great you are.
ive posted something that espn has written about the packers too, does that make me a well known packer fan?
isnt a French-American kind of a paradox.
FINAL POINTS:
1. French American is no more a paradox than African American, Swedish-American, Mexican American, Hespanic American, and etc. However, you do need to understand the difference between language barriers and cultural barriers. You cannot escape your upbringing using ethnocentrism.
2. I always site the sources, generally, when I post background info on a forum's thread. If you do not have background info, you cannot have an informed perspective, period! But to tell a writer whether to upper case, space paragraphs, use bold, etc., you should forget it!
3. When dealing with wanna bes playing the humble pie game, I live by one motto, "When you are dealing with outrageous people, be even more outrageous." Actually, fyi, my friends [note the word], consider TOP HAT to be very humble man. As you notice, I return *** for tat with full cannons. As a French ancestor said, guess who?, "Morality is on the side with the heaviest artillery."
4. Now, a word about the humility farce practiced in the narcissistic culture. The farce is a illusionary myth in the kindergarten culture. The truth is that ignorance, delusion, and arrogance are much more widespread than humility. Humility is an illusionary image practiced in the day-to-day affairs of the bourgeoisie culture to appeal to the common person myth, a civic culture myth, masking human nature. I know better about human nature practiced in the day-to-day affairs of the narcisstic material culture. Frankly, such humble pie posturing by wanna bes are foolhardy & counterproductive against legendary TOP HAT.
5. I will not post my writings because even Pack93z can predict the cliched reactions. As...said, "Who cares?" The news articles mentioned do speak for themselves. Further, they are only a pinky of my credentials meaning they speak about only one of my many publications going back for three decades.
3. For the blame game, you need to go after the individual who began the offensive remarks and supporting posturing cast in a "birds of a feather stick together" little pecking order. By the way ZERO, I have 3 masters. I will accept an apology and move on.
6. I humbly agree to leave this feud at that. I expect to see you on my new thread about the fate of the rookies with productive postings. Thank you.

I do think he's very qualified, although I've talked to Pat several times and I think he's very happy with his retirement.

Pat Richter (born 9 September 1941 in Madison, Wisconsin) is the former University of Wisconsin-Madison athletic director. He was responsible for hiring Barry Alvarez from Notre Dame in 1990 as head football coach, restoring the Badgers football program to national prominence.
Richter was one of Wisconsin's most-storied student-athletes. He was a nine-time letterwinner (the last person to earn such a distinction in school history), lettering three times each in football, basketball and baseball. He was also an All-American tight end twice. Richter set a Rose Bowl record with 11 catches for 163 yards in the 1963 game vs. No. 1-rated USC Trojans.
He was a first round draft pick of the Washington Redskins in 1963 and went on to play eight seasons in Washington.
Richter returned to the University of Wisconsin-Madison as athletic director in 1989 after 17 years service as Vice President of Personnel at Oscar Mayer Foods Corp., recruited by then-chancellor Donna Shalala. He inherited a program in disarray, with outmoded facilities, struggling teams, and a deficit of $2.1 million.
He made a priority of modernizing the University's sports facilities, including construction of the Kohl Center and renovations to Camp Randall Stadium. He reversed the financial fortunes of the department, erasing the deficit and building a budget reserve of $6.4 million.
When he stepped down as athletic director on 1 April 2004, he was the longest-tenured director of athletics in the Big Ten Conference with 14-plus years. He was succeeded by Alvarez.
Richter is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, the Academic All-America Hall of Fame, the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame and the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison twice honored Richter during the 2006 football season. On 4 November, his number 88 was retired in a ceremony during that day's football game. On 17 November a bronze statue of Richter was unveiled in the Kellner Hall plaza immediately outside Camp Randall Stadium.

If my math is correct, he's 66 years old and gonna be 67 in less than half a year. with the age limit at 70 im not sure it'd be wise to have him aboard because they'd have to start looking for a replacement shortly after.
