Without a doubt, my favorite Packers play-call in recent years has been the play-action roll-out. Usually it's been a one- or two-man route, with Jordy popping through the top of the coverage for a bomb. Last year, the Packers' had a lot of success with this play. This year - not so much. You can see it in Rodgers' stats and, particularly, Jordy's inconsistency this season. The Packers simply don't have a play-action threat this season: http://wp.me/p29VCs-d0

That's because NOBODY RESPECTS OUR RBs period end of story.

Yet people think Chris Johnson wouldn't help with that.... LOL.
Realistic or not, he'd help the whole offense out tremendously.
Defenses FEAR that guy's speed.
No defense worries about Al Green or Jim Starks.
Yet because our OL can't run block, we still don't gouge people on the ground game.

Our running game is the same from last season. Both seasons we were anemic. If anything, it had some semblance of a threat earlier this season with Benson. We've covered the lack of a running game many times in these threads. But, it's startling to see how much it has impacted an important part of our offensive philosophy. Because we were a team that used play-action a lot, with much success last season. It's a collateral consequence to the lack of a running game that doesn't get discussed much.
