I also heard that they put those 50,000 FIBS on a "fake waiting list". No chance that they would ever intentionally let an ex-Bear fan buy Packer tickets.

I'm all for taking a deposit, and keeping their names perpetually on the bottom of the list.

Maybe even make the deposit on an annual basis. Hell, Bears fans would never figure it out!

At least it has become an opportunity for fans to get tickets to a game virtually anywhere FOR a price. There was a time when the NFL blackout system made it almost impossible. I am actually thankful that the AFL came along and forced the NFL owners to compete and build bigger stadiums.

They should ban the wearing of any colored clothing, other than Green and/or Gold (yellow), inside Lambeau.

Wasn't that the problem in Brazil the other year, where the stadium explicitly bans the color green from being worn (their rival team's color) or you are not allowed entry?

As long as the stadium is within reasonable driving distance of the Bears' primary audience, this will all be a big nothing burger. I suspect that Bears fandom has crept over the northern border into southern WI, west into Iowa, and east into Indiana.

If anything, this is just making it more difficult for the rest of us to get a good Chicago-style pizza before or after a victory. Now it has to be an additional stop along the drive.

Corinthians has an unofficial, traditional ban on the color green inside the stadium because it belongs to their fierce local rival, Palmeiras. That wasn't "in place" when the Packers played there.

I live in Indiana, around the middle of the state. The Bears have always been popular here - especially before the Colts arrived. Packers are fairly popular too. This will likely be a long year, because they usually play the Packer games on TV here - except when the Bears are good, then they play the Bear games instead.

Ha ha. I'm not sure how they determine that though, since I believe most predict the Bears to win the division, they may have already made the determination to air the Bears games. Come to think of it, if they move to Indiana, they might air more Bear games because of that

Sounds like it is time for you to move to Packer Country!!!

Glass Half Full Perspective, at least for this season....Just a quick count, I think there are 11 Packer games that are either Regional Games (3:25) or National Games (night) or against the Bears themselves, so you should have a shot at seeing a lot of Packer games.

I've considered it a few times. The main thing stopping me is that the last time I moved, it was such a pain in the ****, that I swore never again. It doesn't help that I'm a bit of a pack rat. Also, it looks like housing is more expensive in Wisconsin than here. Looks like you get a lot more house for your money here.

I don't know if I'll get to see "a lot" of Packer games this year, but I have no doubt I'll see some. Plus I plan to go to at least one game live this year.
