Mike Nolan. He turned us down, last year. Capers, apparently was not our first option.

Thoughts? He had a good year with Denver.

Didn't Mike Nolan just get fired at Denver? I think I heard that. He had an ok year at Denver. They didn't make the playoffs. We did. Our defense was great this year despite some crucial injuries in our secondary. Whether Capers was our first choice or not doesn't really matter. Sean Payton was our first choice over Mike McCarthy for head coach if memory serves. I think it worked out on both accounts. I like Capers.

An EARLY good year. Late in the season his defense collapsed. And he quit them after this year.

Capers deserves credit, though he failed against older QBs. He did turn this defense around, specially in the running game.

We're fine with Capers.
