miss that man tooGood point, and an often overlooked part of champions - that is, they get very good play from the "no names" on the roster....or just that championship confidence. Frank Zambo, Erik Walden, Jarrett Bush, Marshall Newhouse, Atari Bigby, Charlie Peprah, and Brandon Jackson really were average talent at best but all contributed. That team had the kind of chutzpah that can propel the common man to uncommon outcomes.

Activity Breeds activity. Always love Kevin was a position coach who was like a Big Brother during games. Motivating his guys to step up. He understood that to be great you had to find that extra gear in big moments.Kevin Greene (RIP) who famously told CMIII "IT'S TIME!" in the final minutes of the SB victory over the Steelers. Well said. It's the rare coach who not only knows how to motivate a player, but when. He certainly earned his SB ring with the Packers. Without him, there may not have been a ring in 2011.Activity Breeds activity. Always love Kevin was a position coach who was like a Big Brother during games. Motivating his guys to step up. Hey, as long as they're finding some motivation somewhere. Most of the guys my age - let's say 65 and up - just go to the gym to get away from their wives (ok that's not completely fair, but close).

That is true. They all do something at the gym, and that's always better than nothing.Hey, as long as they're finding some motivation somewhere.![]()
Motivation comes in many forms. Yesterday my wife came home from the gym (a large reputable gym) and the girls were gossiping. One of the PT ladies was upset because she git paid $2 less per hour than normal without warning (likely accounting error) but it energized her to talk because she was mad. She said the other day she got to work at 5am. She Heard rustling noises near the ceiling (like an animal) and then voices so she decided to investigate by climbing the roof ladder. It was the new GM (he’s like 60yrs and not good shape) and some girl going at it! True story! I guess the early morning motivation landscape is proliferating?Well said. But I like your saying ""activity breeds activity". I'm an old guy but in very good shape and a gym rat, former marathon runner and short-course triathlete. I do cardio 6x week because my heart is invaluable, and resistance 2-3 days a week with a trainer.
Most of the guys my age - let's say 65 and up - just go to the gym to get away from their wives (ok that's not completely fair, but close). When I get asked what motivates me to work hard, the answer is always the same - the work itself.
Sorry for the digression gang!
