We can be thankful:
If Aaron Rodgers comes back to start.
If not, then hopefully Matt Flynn gets the green light to start.

Thinking that it was going to be Tolzien, I was dreading this game.
Now with a very good chance with a better QB to start, I'm looking forward to it.
No matter if the weather outside is frightful, they will be in a dome and as we know the Packers have transformed into a very good dome team.
(Do they still have the reputation for being that winning team in the infamous cold at Lambeau?)

It will be a very happy Thanksgiving if the Packers win.
Either way, there is more to life than football and we should all have a few blessings to be thankful for.

If Flynn is starter and wins he shall earn the title of Lion slayer, and then may we please get Rodgers back.

I'm thankful for the fact we got to see the Packers on top. We saw history written by them in a very positive light.

I know we need him back, but I feel we may cause him to re-injure his shoulder and then we are screwed. I say let him recover properly, Flynn looks like he`s got it covered. The rest of the team need to step up and do their jobs which they are paid for.

I just want Rodgers to be well enough to come back for the Bears game.
It's payback time on their turf.

Now that Prince Fielder has been traded garbage collection can fully resume.

Wonder if MM starts Flynn(stupid not to) and does amazing, would McCarthy then really have a tough choice to make come Wk14 start Rodgers or not, and give him one more week to heal then start him against Dallas. I wouldn't start him against Atlanta but put him back in come dallas.

Flynn will start as the Packers said Rodgers has a slim to none chance of starting this Thursday. Whether the Packers are just saying that so the lions will expect Flynn I expect Flynn to start

MM may be trying to be coy about Rodgers to have the Lions believe that he may play, cause if I'm game planning and the chance that a MVP is coming back as an option, I prepare for that.

My father-in-law lives in Rochester Hills, a suburb of Detroit. He sent me this T-shirt after my last visit:

It's a sorry city if the T-Shirt company is making more money than the city.
Especially with a shirt like that.

Anyone else on here going to the game? Looking for somewhere to go pre-game either a bar or tailgate lot with some other packer fans!

Good thing this game won't be on the NFL network.
Because I don't think this song can relate to Detroit.
Do you really want a Lions player saying "Welcome to my city?"
What he could say is, "Welcome to my city. Now duck and cover and for your safety, leave."

She is VERY pretty, but I prefer the Hank Williams "Are you ready for some football ?" version to start my football evening. JMO. Maybe they could voice over ?.....lol

I like them both.
But I do wonder why they chose an East Indian girl.

Do they have anything like that for soccer/football matches in your country?
Big build up intros to the matches?

hehe... Television in the US is downright primitive compared to the UK. Sky is already broadcasting matches in 3D.

This particular opener is my favorite. There is lots of stuff pertaining to the Premier League which are great too.
