Well we kind of do with the AFL.

AFL is a way different league though. A summer football league would be the same setting/rules as the NFL during the fall. It will happen eventually.

Meh. I don't know about the summer league. I guess it could be fun though. Football, to me, is a cold weather sport. Or at least cool weather sport. I want my football in the fall and winter. Best served chilled.
