There's a G on the helmet. The original was black and white, so I don't really know what color the jerseys were.
It's cause the whole uni is so dark... It just doesn't look like us...

Few know about Hornung that he was the ONLY Heisman trophy winner EVER from a team (Notre Dame) with a losing record. ( the Irish were 2-8 that year..)

My favorite Paul Hornung quote?

No wonder that during the 60's every guy wanted to be Hornung, and every gal wanted to date him!

This was taken after the best game of old "Thunder & Lightning". In the fog, in the 1965 title game, ( also Jim Brown's last game) Paul Hornung ran for 105 and Jim Taylor bulled for 95 as the Packers beat the Cleveland Browns 23-12.
