No. In this context, I don't. That's why I asked you in what sense you meant the term, because what I inferred from it was that you thought it would be unfair or disrespectful to Doubs. I really don't see it that way, because a trade could be a very good move for him. From what I've seen, he's aiming to get a contract something along the lines of $15Mx4. He's not going to get that here. As Tyni pointed out, the WR room is standing room only, with a line out the door, and we have two really solid tight ends who need to be fed too. Doubs already made it clear last year that he really wasn't happy with how many passes he was seeing, and with Muskgrave becoming more popular with Love, plus the addition of Golden and Williams, it's not like that's going to get any better. With the teams that are rumored to be asking about him, he's going to see a lot more footballs than he will here, and maybe even be the #1 target. He'll have many opportunities to prove he's worth the contract he's looking for. I don't want to lose him either, because I like the guy and respect him, but the salary cap situation almost certainly means he has no future here. But on another team, he has a great oportunity to move his career forward, and set himself up for free agency. And at the same time, if we can get significant draft capital AND feel we have enough WRs to make up for losing him, I think we need to do it. Better for all concerned; win-win. This guy has a lot of upside, I have always felt that. I have also always felt that he's never going to get a chance to fully showcase that in Green Bay because we just don't have as many footballs as we have receivers. I've always felt that whichever of our young receives are the first to go, some of them are going to really blossom on a different team, where they get more targets. Seems like Doubs may be the first of those, and the sooner he moves to another team, the sooner he can start making a case to get paid.
