I think many people generally want and need to be unhappy. Internet is littered with people who only exist to be miserable and unhappy or try to make others miserable and unhappy. I've been a sports fan since roughly 10. I've been on this earth over 50 years so, that means roughly 200 combined seasons of sports between Bucks, Brewers, Packers, Badger FB/Basketball and out of those 200, only 3 have been championship seasons. Yes, a Championship is the main goal, but if you are basing your entire happiness and satisfaction on sports on only that you are going to be miserable 99% of the time after the season ends. I used to be the angry abd let it impact my emotional state for days/weeks afterwards, but about 15 years ago made a decision that no more was I going to have something that I have no control over get me that upset for periods afterwards. The last month or so has been fun. 49ers loss isn't taking that away. Looking forward to the offseason moves and how they can try to get back into this point next season. If you want to be that upset afterwards and be upset at others that they aren't as upset as you. Have fun with that.
