Studs: Lacy - when given the chance Cobb, especially toward the end when he was fighting like crazy. Defense -- did their jobs over and over, really had one weak series with poor tackling. Duds: Rodgers. He doesn't have many bad games but this was one. It wasn't even the picks that were so bad. It was missing receivers, missing open men (Nelson was gigantically open on the opposite side of the field from the second pick) bad timing, bad decisions. Threw too high, too hard, too low and DIDN'T CORRECT FOR THE WIND. Over and Over. Receivers. Dropped the ball. Didn't correct for the wind. Over and over. Jordy blew a sure touchdown catch. What else can you say? Adams and Quarless were almost non-factors. To be fair, I thought Buffalo d-backs were getting away with a lot of grabs and early hits. The refs simply aren't calling those this year, I guess. Special teams. Overran the punt that resulted in a touchdown because -- they didn't correct for the wind. The ball came up way short of what they expected because it got held up. Wasn't anybody up in the booth calling down to the sidelines that the wind needed to be considered on all these types of plays? Coaching was a bit of a dud in my book. Didn't have an offensive game plan with any coherence, though when your QB keeps missing and your receivers keep dropping the game plan is sort of irrelevant. That game reminded me way too much of the New Orleans debacle. Fortunately, we could afford to lose this one. Must win the next two. No excuses.
