Having watched the All22 now nearly two times through I'll share my Studs and Duds: STUDS Eric Stokes - Besides his tackling, this young man was the best corner we had on the field...now granted he wasn't lined up with AJ Brown constantly like Ja, but still. Stokes looked exceptional in change of direction, hip dropping and even reading plays/runs on the fly and despite his tackling not being good, he was attacking - which is awesome to see. Edgerrin Cooper - I really struggle with saying stud because he saw few snaps, but it is clear he is going to be a playmaker....his over aggression is borderline an issue because I suspect his hair on fire will also give up a few big plays, but folks he is everything we wanted Quay to be...I just hope MLF and Hafley push him in to that role and not keep clinging to what Quay ought to be, and ignoring what he seems to continually confirm he is - an average off ball LB who has rare athletic traits. Tucker Kraft - He absolutely cannot do what Musgrave can, but everything he can do he does better than Musgrave. He is TE1 IMO. Zach Tom - One penalty but otherwise this young man I will declare it this day...about five weeks before I said I would wait till, HE IS OUR BEST OFFENSIVE LINEMAN. Xavier McKinney - Dude was everywhere and I think I only saw one or two plays where he was out of position or the offensive scheme got him. Dude is easily our best player on the defensive side of the ball IMO...yes I mean that even over Rashan Gary. Gary is insanely special, but X is one of the best in the entire league at his position. NOTEWORTHY - Javon Bullard...I couldn't say stud, BUT this young man is going to be very good. Nixon should never be on the field and him off the field, EVER. DUDS Rasheed Walker - He did absolutely put it together enough in the second half to had not been on the list but his first half was autrocious IMO. Luke Musgrave - His blocking ability is the worst on the team for guys asked to block....he has to produce offensively to be a value right now for me. Dontayvion Wicks - Dear lord this young man's route running is like watching a tutorial video at times on how to run routes. The turf took one chance at a catch for him...and a clear additional drop...it was a rough day for Wicks. I don't expect many of these to happen but I bet he would agree with the fact he had a dud performance. Jordan Love - This was tough for me....but live I noticed how relative to what Love was so often last year he was off. A lot of drops (Wicks, Reed, Doubs all attributed with one, Wicks with more depending on grader) were exacerbated by the ball being off target by a pretty good margin. THIS has nothing to do with his injury, and is also more about relative to how he has shown he can play vs being an overall dud....but the fact that debate in my head happened meant he likely deserved being here...albeit at the bottom of the Dud list.
