Studs: Rodgers...second year with MLF, little chip on his shoulder again....watch out NFL - that baaaaad man appears to be back. OL Group....to get decimated with injuries, yet come away with no penalties and no sacks allowed....folks this group deserves a nice long slow clap of applause. Bravo...bravo....now go do whatever witchcraft you must to get everyone back healthy. Williams...I'm a sucker for blitz pick ups and on this alone Williams is proving why Dillon has a challenge in front of him to steal snaps. Not too mention 3 first down runs out of him. MVS...games like this from him and Lazard continue to happen Gute will be able to throw a proverbial "middle finger" at most of us and the media about them not getting Rodgers more. His route running HAD TO HAVE been an off season focus, dare I say his route got him open multiple times where his feet speed was usually the only thing that used to do it. His frame use while ball is in the air at times reminds me of Nelson which is a massive overstatement, but keep working young man. Shaking off his drop blunders and coming back with more catches is great sign. Duds: Prevent Defense - hate it...but first game the defense is better than this first game showed. Savage....slow down young man. Your raw skills are there...but his instincts right now seem to be "hectic" by appearance. RZ Offense - Clearly struggled....but to be that bad and still put up 43 week 1...yes please. Believing this: ^^^---all in good fun brother :) Promising Signs: Runyon - Had a few moments you'd expect from a rookie, but like many of us predicted pre-draft and after, this young man has it. Great sign of his contributions game 1 when called upon. Krys Barnes - My 1 of 2 UDFAs I predicted to make cut, got out there due to injuries and such. Baptism by fire, but absorbed and took up blocks well in his role, had some good and some bad. Well done young man, this is his shot with Kamal down and Burks not proving he can do it. The one blunder side stepping was his only glaring mistake IMO...great sign early. Dillon - As we all (well most logical folks) expected limited snaps, and almost too limited to take away anything - but he produced when asked albeit limited. Good stuff.
