CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia may have won the National Invitation Tournament, but the Mountaineers' commemorative T-shirts are less than championship material.

    They contain a misspelling.

The "West Virginia" printed on the shirts players wore after winning the NIT title with a 78-73 victory over Clemson on Thursday night is missing the last "i" in "Virginia."

WVU sports information director Shelly Poe said the NIT printed the shirts.

Calls to tournament officials were not immediately returned Friday.

West Virginia coach John Beilein also could not be reached for comment. He and the team were on their way back to West Virginia on Friday after winning their first NIT title in 65 years.

Where was this? Virginia? I understand then.
At least Texas has nice ways to learn spelling. I saw some girls in shirts last year that said "you can't spell SLUT without UT"

Cripes....I'm gone for a week and now we're into spelling. With graduations coming up soon, take a look at all the reader boards around your areas that will offer "Congradulations to our graduates." Makes you stop and think about the future of our country. My wife does the processing of applicant folders for her school district and you would be surprised at the misspelled words that college graduates have in their folders.

How do you spell that state with our hated rivals...the Vikings?

Actually he is not doing to badly in Tampa. Personally, I always liked him, too bad he had a couple of bad seasons with the Vikes.

So, what are some the greatest Packers doing now?

Like: Joe Johnson, Adrian Klemm, Mark Roman, and Nick Luchey.

Oh ya, and speaking of great Packers, what is Tony Mandarich up to ? :rotflmao:

He started a photography business with his wife.

I'm holding out that he starts his own playboy type magazine, he may still be of some use!

Of course, that makes the assumption that his photography skills are actually decent. :twitch:

I heard Johnson, Klemm, and Luchey are training in the art of hamburger engineering (more commonly known as flippin burgers).

While were on the subject, how is good ol Sharper doing? He looked winded last time I saw him (which is to be expected, what with all the chasing of Driver he did  )

It's actually quite easy for Viking fans, as they have only had ONE "great" to remember.........Fran Tarkinton!
So for them to make fun of our BAD players, (like "Manwich") is quite amusing. WE on the other hand could just look at their last season's roster to make fun of them!
    (How's that Vikes???)LOLOLOL!!! :rotflmao:

Oh cheesey, I am deeply saddened by your advanced age and associated C.R.S.

Perhaps you might remember Alan Page, Carl Eller, Jim Marshall, and Gary Larsen. And lest we forget, **** Tinglehoff.

Or maybe Paul Krause, Ron Yary Chuck Foreman, Robert Smith, Cris Carter ring a bell. There are many more, but I won't carry on.

Oh, ya not to mention the guy you guys are drolling over RANDY MOSS.

    Enjoy your last year with Favre for it has been foretold;

In the year 2008, Favre shall depart the Land of Cheese. And much grief shall ensue for the cheeseheads. They shall be punged into a decade of much peril and deep sorrow. For they shall enter an age of great uncertainty, and many losses shall plaque them. The Dark Ages of many defeats will be upon them. They shall become the mockery of the NFL. - Nostradamus

Foreman was ok, but the rest? PIKERS!!! :rotflmao:
Oh......and i have never "DROLLED" over ANYONE!!!

Now.....for the Vikings this coming season:
"In the year 2007-2008, the Vikings shall continue on in their losing ways. NOTHING will change for them! The dark ages of no Super Bowl wins shall continue. And they shall once again STINK UP the joint!"
    NOSTRALDAMUS- :rotflmao:
