Sorry Trippster and Cheesey...no Heather Cox autographs. My time showing her around amounted to 30 minutes with a guy who looked like Mr. T and sounded like "Rocky." Very strict ESPN policies about autograph seekers and groupies when they are working. I did meet her and get to talk to her for about 5 minutes.

But....on the bright side...I traded my Montana Santa hat with one of the UMass cheerleaders for her UMass hat. She wore the Santa hat at the end of the game.

Good game though. Bummer out here but hey, there are 117 other teams that didn't make it to the semifinals so we can't complain. I've been to the Championship game twice in the past 5 years with the team so I'm happy.

    Cheesey,
Grand Valley State is from Michigan, where else!
Although they are from the hind end of the state ( the L.P.)

    Bob,
I watched the 2nd half of that game and looked for you but didn't see you.

I guess I brought bad luck since you were ahead at halftime. Then that little "bowling ball" running back got rolling.

Yooperfan...I was along the visitor sidelines most of the game, but only got "on camera" once in the first half. Some of my students who wern't at the game saw me. It was a good game even though we lost and that "little bowling ball" did a heck of a job.

Looks like our coach could be going to Stanford....more pay, bigger school, lousy team. We'll know by the weekend. Anyone interested in coaching the Grizzlies?

What chance would any of the men on this site have of hooking up with a "hot cheerleader!!?!?"
Maybe if the cheerleaders were with "St. Johns school for the blind". :rotflmao:

Not much sideline space in that stadium, should be easy for some old bucks like us to catch a cheerleader.

If we all put a winter hat with ear flaps on, big furry parka, Sorel Pacs on our feet....we're in. The more you look like Walter Matthau in the wintertime Grumpy Old Men, the better out here.

Yooper...you're right about the sideline room. Actually it is just over 20 feet. The NCAA made us clear the snow out for this game. When McNeese State came two weeks ago the snow was piled up along the sides and behind the endzones. Montana players use that to drive an oppenent into to welcome them to "Montana Winters".
