The Green Bay Packers bolstered their defense by selecting Ohio State linebacker A.J. Hawk with the No. 5 overall selection in the first round of the NFL draft on Saturday.

Packers General Manager Ted Thompson called Hawk “the perfect fitâ€

Hawk turned down the NFL’s offer to attend the draft in New York on Saturday.

I've read that Hawk is very good at TE coverage, which is a big need for us so he should work out great.

Do you think they will move him inside and Barnett outside which is a better position for him. Hawk is big enough for the middle and athletic enough for coverage in the the middle. I love this pick.
