Why not? We need a veteran backup for Rodgers.

:-? Why Not? Let's see there must be atleast four reasons why not. Culpepper is a has been; Culpepper is a large loaf of lard, Culpepper is mental midget, Culpepper is not GB material in anyway shape or form.

All Culpepper ever was was a guy who could throw a jump ball up for Moss. We don't have Moss.
Once he lost him, he showed he couldn't win.

I hope it doesn't come down to this.. how about Leftwich before the thoughts of Cpepper.. but I don't think this is going to happen.. it will be a heady QB that can help mentor Rodgers if need be.. a Brad Johnson type QB.. smarter than talented so to speak.

That boy likes beers and brats.

We can't bring him to green bay though, he'd try to eat Aaron's mustache.

I think I just had a little puke in my mouth when I read this topic. No fumblin' way do we even call DC. Craig Nall is better than DC. I just hope AR has some durability.

Arod's backup needs to be african american, with a tashe like that a 1980's style interacial buddy movie is definitely on the cards. Can Danny Glover run a west coast offence?

Wow...one of the most ridiculous thoughts I have heard....um...ever.

An offense based on precision and reading/understanding defenses, led by Daunte Culpepper...a QB known for his lack of understanding of what defenses are doing/trying to do??

Yeah....thats a nice combo. A little oil and water if you ask me.

I think Culpepper would be a solid signing but Rodgers is the starter and he'd need to understand that.

If we're being ridiculous about it, Trent Green needs a home, too. He has one concusion left on his punch card.

I love Trent Green, but I think he's done as a serious QB.

I'm not sold on Culpepper to be honest, because he will want an opportunity to start somewhere. Next you'll be hollering for them to trade for Chris Simms or Garcia

This thread had better be a FREAKIN JOKE.

    Packers fans are getting hysterical.

AR will be much better than Culpepper (and probably already is). And Culpepper will be nearing the end of his career.

    Get a grip.

ON EDIT: For a backup? Okay.. not sure if that's what DC is looking for, but I'll buy that.

I'd rather sign Javon Walker as our backup quarterback.

Get real. Culpepper is a waste of space.

Thats what i said earlier........all he could do was throw up a jump ball for Moss. Once Moss left, he couldn't BUY a win.
