Mar 15, 2018 11:45 PM - Poppa San: Who's everyone???
Mar 16, 2018 8:11 AM - 4zone: Didn't expect Jordy to be cut outright. The smart move would have been to re-negotiate him down. Not to vet miniumum but to about what he just signed for. Cobb and Matthews too. Could have kept all three while clearing the cap space they cleared by cutting Jordy. Not a very smart move. UNLESS, none of them would agree to renegotiate.
Mar 16, 2018 6:02 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I'm just disappointed we didn't beat the Ravens to the punch for signing Crabtree when the Raiders cut him for Nelson. I think Gruden fumbled the ball there

Mar 19, 2018 11:35 PM - GreenNGold_81: No room to get Crabtree. We need a starting safety and staring CB first.
Mar 20, 2018 10:56 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Shoulda let HHCD go instead of Burnett
Mar 20, 2018 5:10 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: also, god dammit we shoulda grabbed Teddy Bridgewater, the Jets got him for half a mil in guaranteed money making him cheaper than that f'n stinko Brett Hundley and he's a 1000x better QB too reared in a McCarthy-esque system
Mar 20, 2018 6:54 PM - GreenNGold_81: I disagree, Kizer is a good get - not expected to start - maybe grooming for the future. Whereas Teddy wants to play now. He wouldn't sign here given his ties to Minny anyway.

Mar 20, 2018 11:13 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Kizer is only slightly better than Hundley ... if that. And that last statement is utterly ridiculous. Funny how it seems anyone previously playing here would sign to Minny but not the other way around, I call doodoo on that
Mar 20, 2018 11:21 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: And since we brought Kizer here, that shoulda meant an automatic shipping out of Hundley, and why not? Cleveland is exactly where that clown backup belongs
Mar 21, 2018 6:13 AM - SeahawkFan80: As Sherman left us and went to SF, I almost figured Crabby would end up a Seahawk. But alas no. LOL
Mar 21, 2018 4:32 PM - lambeaulambo: Hundley will never play for another nfl team....book it
Mar 21, 2018 4:33 PM - lambeaulambo: PFIC how do know about teddy ruxpin? Kizer Sose will be a fine 4th stringer LOL

Mar 22, 2018 12:40 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I don't care if he never does, i just want him out so we aren't wasting a roster spot and depth on his ineptitude
Mar 22, 2018 8:56 AM - 4zone: I'd like to see us draft the kid from Richmond.
Mar 22, 2018 10:10 AM - 4zone: Thoughts folks: After looking at this from every angle I can think of, I think we need to go a different direction that anyone thinks we will. With Bulaga out until mid season, we have Spriggs and Murphy as RT starters and backups for Bakhtari, I think we need to go with McGlinchly. It will tick off a lot of people but with the money Ar is about to make, we need to protect that investment.
Mar 22, 2018 3:28 PM - Joe2887: Hmm, Tramon Williams back toGB. Not sure how i feel.
Mar 22, 2018 4:02 PM - 4zone: Stopgap measure instead of roster improvement.
Mar 22, 2018 4:02 PM - 4zone: Perhaps Burnett's replacement???
Mar 22, 2018 5:14 PM - elcid: @4zone I catch your point. Im also not completely confident in our OL but Id really want us to draft D again
Mar 22, 2018 5:14 PM - elcid: Im really hopeful one of the blue chip LBs or DBs falls to us.
Mar 22, 2018 8:23 PM - OldSchool101: We weren’t going to be able to immediate upgrade all position groups.but Tramon is somewhere between House and Randall leaning more to Randall
Mar 22, 2018 8:26 PM - OldSchool101: Tramin is a more natural perimeter guy not a Randall S turned CB. What Tramon lacks in age he makes up for in experience.

Mar 23, 2018 12:37 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Not releasing Bulaga is something I'm surprised Gute didn't do, to me he's had even more injury liabilities here than Jordy did. Well, I mean obviously Jordy had both the ACL in 2015 and the ribs in 2016, but even if he wasn't wide open he still could do enough to warrant keeping him when AR threw him the ball. Bulaga though, I really don't like the idea of mixing up the OL continuously until he
Mar 23, 2018 12:37 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: returns
Mar 23, 2018 12:39 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I wouldn't say I'm crazy about Tramon returning either. Even if he's a vet, he's not returning to the Capers system anyway so he'd have to learn the new nuances of the playbook as well. He does have experience yes, but ... Idk, I don't think I'm going to expect him to do much better than when James Jones came back to our offense in 2015
Mar 23, 2018 7:00 PM - Poppa San: PFiC: Tramonster played in the playbook a few years ago. He already has a leg up on all the returnees.

Mar 23, 2018 10:58 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I mean, better wording would say, I think bringing him back was an okay thing to do, in fact with the Randall loss probably about the only thing we could do since AZ likely locked down Peterson. But, I'm not going to put all that high of expectations on it though or say that it's an automatic fix just yet to what ails us
Mar 24, 2018 12:03 PM - hallzi43: I don't think expectations are high. But despite the weird comparison of WR to CB, if you got the value from Tramon Williams that you got from James Jones in 2015 that is a huge win.

Mar 24, 2018 9:44 PM - OldSchool101: Carolina, James Jones already led all Packer receivers in 2015. If he was better than that at CB he would be near or at one of the best CBs in the NFC North. That’s probably not the ideal comparison to minimize Tramons impact.

Mar 26, 2018 9:53 AM - shockerx: packers try to trade perry and 14th pick for OJB.. but Gaints reject.. good.
Mar 26, 2018 10:02 AM - 4zone: Fantasy football shocker or real story?
Mar 26, 2018 10:12 AM - shockerx: reported by Aaron Nagler
Mar 26, 2018 2:14 PM - 4zone: Not seeing it. Got a link?
Mar 26, 2018 2:33 PM - shockerx: aaron nagler tweeter... it looks like a rumor..

Mar 31, 2018 at 6:02 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I sure hope it was only a rumor, I mean I know Gute is trying to show there's a new sheriff in town and all, but seriously? OBJ? No way he'd coexist with our team or Mike McCarthy, I'd have to give a big aksnay to our GM if he did that

Apr 4, 2018 at 10:56 AM - pacmaniac: Kapernick is done, when a team is willing to sign RGIII instead of him. Same with Eric Reed. They'll never play in the NFL ever again.
Apr 4, 2018 at 2:17 PM - lambeaulambo: what about Johnny Manziel?
Apr 4, 2018 at 3:21 PM - 4zone: The purge peddle is to the metal.
Apr 4, 2018 at 3:22 PM - 4zone: TE just moved up the need list.

Apr 5, 2018 7:39 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: that's funny, i thought everyone considered Graham to be an upgrade over RR
Apr 5, 2018 8:25 AM - SeahawkFan80: Graham is more a wide receiver than a TE. Also a question...How was your guys defensive line in 2000-2004 timeframe. We hired your defensive line coach from that time.
Apr 5, 2018 5:00 PM - 4zone: PFC, Graham is only one guy and one injury away from Kendrick being our last TE with ANY experience.
Apr 5, 2018 5:00 PM - 4zone: RR gave us depth and experience if not much else.

Apr 6, 2018 10:27 AM - SeahawkFan80: Could be worse....could be worth "Less than that"....

Apr 9, 2018 3:26 PM - OldSchool101: SeahawkFan.During Jethro's tenure we averaged 13th in points allowed, 9th in TD allowed, 21st in YPA and 14th in total Yards. Not bad for a rookie in the NFL
Apr 9, 2018 3:27 PM - OldSchool101: Jethro did have the luxury of coaching the likes of Aaron Kampman and KJB for much of that duration. Those were 2 solid players in their prime that definitely aided the cause
Apr 9, 2018 3:53 PM - SeahawkFan80: Thank you. Much appreciated.

Apr 10, 2018 4:35 PM - Poppa San: He trades down with NE?
Apr 10, 2018 4:36 PM - Poppa San: I was going to add Seattle but they only have 1 pick in the first two days.

Apr 10, 2018 9:20 PM - OldSchool101: actually having one of the top couple of QB's fall to us could be a God send. It is entirely possible that we'd work a trade deal with NE. They have worked with us before
Apr 11, 2018 7:55 AM - SeahawkFan80: Ya. We kinda mortgaged the future for last year. That is one of the reasons I think we have cut some of the guys we did...for cap space next year and the future.
Apr 11, 2018 8:08 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Man, I'll tell ya though, Minny really is going down, Cousins is not worth $30 million period, cuts are coming to their defense big time
Apr 11, 2018 8:10 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: And going back down a few lines, I didn't personally want RR gone, but sure seems like this whole damn forum was up on his back just 2 years ago or so complaining he wasn't fast enough
Apr 11, 2018 6:52 PM - SeahawkFan80: You speak the truth. I even recall that.
Apr 11, 2018 7:03 PM - OldSchool101: I liked RR for what he was being paid. But it's obvious that we are trying to get faster on Offense. Change is tough but I was one of the first saying that we needed to do something different than our typical insanity
Apr 11, 2018 7:06 PM - OldSchool101: The coaching changes have me pumped more than anything we've done thus far. Having Philbin back and Dom Capers finally replaced by someone like Pettine was long overdue. TThat overrides any personnel moves that I didn't like. We needed a fresh start somehow, someaway

Apr 12, 2018 9:38 AM - SeahawkFan80: Kinda surprised you all did not go after Bevell....he is outstanding in his field.
Apr 12, 2018 9:59 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Well, idk about you SHF, but looking at his track record it seems Bevell's offenses' success have been the product of top-tier RBs in them with Adrian Peterson in Minny and Marshawn Lynch in you guys case. The years he hasn't had those his offenses appear to struggle. Thing is though he probably wouldn't get to call the plays cuz after MM gave that up once, he said he'd never do it again
Apr 12, 2018 1:38 PM - SeahawkFan80: I did not say where his field was......

Apr 14, 2018 at 1:09 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Well ... my biggest offseason dilemma is whether or not to hang up fantasy football for good now or not
Apr 14, 2018 at 1:24 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: It's crazy, it's a love-hate relationship. By the end of last year I was just all like fck this im ready to call it done for good ... yet then the offseason comes and you already start thinking about next year
Apr 14, 2018 at 2:04 PM - SeahawkFan80: I think the days of having a premiere player in the league that is dependable to make yardage and points has gone the way of the salary cap. In other words...naw man...give it away give it away give it away now. LOL
Apr 14, 2018 at 6:19 PM - Poppa San: Being buried by the effin blizzard. 8" down, another foot to go.
