Feb 5, 2017 at 7:16 PM - buggybill2003:
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:16 PM - 4zone: NE fans will be insuferable
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:16 PM - Carl: An example of how staying aggressive can hurt a team. Sack, fumble on 3rd and one. Sack after Julio's catch. Atlanta didn't do much to take time off the clock late. Running it 3x after Julio's catch and kicking a FG pretty much seals it.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:17 PM - Zartan: I am a Wizard
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:17 PM - SeahawkFan80: are there enough commercials to enhance this superior play forcing a 5th quarter???

Feb 5, 2017 at 7:17 PM - lambeaulambo: pick 6 for that punk 232
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:18 PM - 4zone: Defense won this for NE. Shut ATL down but good last Q and 1/2

Feb 5, 2017 at 7:27 PM - Old Guy: As we have seen with the packers and their lost to Seattle, dometimes you never recoover from a loss like that
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:27 PM - buggybill2003: Well called Zartan.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:27 PM - lambeaulambo:
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:27 PM - Zartan: Thanks Bill
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:27 PM - buggybill2003: see ya guys.

Feb 5, 2017 at 7:28 PM - lambeaulambo: gnight sir bill
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:28 PM - Green and Gold: That's a nice lead you have there...
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:29 PM - Zartan: Atleast that wasnt us
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:29 PM - C-Lee: hey, at least the 2014 game isn't the biggest playoff collapse anymore!
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:29 PM - Old Guy: He will be Matty Choke forever unless he gets that monkey off his back. One drive in pretty much 3 quarters
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:29 PM - Green and Gold: Salt levels reaching critical mass.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:29 PM - lambeaulambo:
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:30 PM - ls1bob: This game was the parable of the tortoise and the hare. Slow and steady won out
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:30 PM - lambeaulambo: how do u blow that?
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:30 PM - MadCat: another gifted sb win for pats. Massive choke by atl. Outdid us at least.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:30 PM - ls1bob: Good night Bill
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:31 PM - C-Lee: I really hate to sound salty but I'm not that impressed. The Falcolns truly gave this game away.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:31 PM - lambeaulambo: this is an outrage
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:31 PM - lambeaulambo: the pi penalty put it on the one
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:31 PM - Zartan: They did Lee
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:31 PM - weeds: Wow. Just friggen Wow... Pats live in ****...but they wear it well.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:33 PM - Green and Gold: Jimmy G has as many rings as Pwyton Manning
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:34 PM - pacmaniac: **** you Dan Quinn
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:34 PM - Green and Gold: Patriots earned their win. That was an incredible comeback,
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:34 PM - pacmaniac: Belichick officially greater than Lombardi.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:34 PM - pacmaniac: Rodgers will never catch Brady
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:34 PM - C-Lee: I'm so annoyed hahah
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:35 PM - Old Guy: All that confidence Ryan showed in the pocket for 12 straight games went out the window. He hung on to the ball too long, did not use his feet like he did against the Pack and took sack after sack

Feb 5, 2017 at 7:35 PM - pacmaniac: Mylanta FAILcons
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:35 PM - Zartan: A comeback I called ;)
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:36 PM - Green and Gold: You did I prefer BBQ with my Crow!
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:36 PM - pacmaniac: Why can't MM make halftime adjustments like Belichick???
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:36 PM - adambr2: Rodgers was never going to catch Brady regardless of what happened today
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:37 PM - Old Guy: Ryan pacing on the sideline was not a good sign. Praying to hold on.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:37 PM - MadCat: he could catch brady if he signed with the patriots
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:37 PM - pacmaniac: Maybe not win 3 more SBs, but perhaps Rodgers can win 2 more, and he could catch Brady for GOAT , but not now.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:37 PM - Old Guy: Ummmm We do noy have that defense
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:39 PM - pacmaniac: Stupid rule that doesn't allow the other team to touch the ball in OT.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:40 PM - pacmaniac: 49ers changed their mind on Kyle Shanahan now
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:40 PM - Jz3: Falcons played Packer ball in the 2nd half.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:40 PM - rodell330: Only if Rodgers could go on a run like this ...so sad
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:40 PM - Jz3: or mcCarthy ball
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:41 PM - pacmaniac: is this the worst choke in all of sports history
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:42 PM - C-Lee: They really did look like the Packers in the 2nd half.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:42 PM - C-Lee: and it might be. and of course it was against the Patriots!
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:42 PM - MadCat: Very packeresque for sure
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:43 PM - pacmaniac: Packers would have scored 0 against Belichick in the second half though.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:43 PM - Old Guy: i don't know....but its right up there if not the biggest choke
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:43 PM - C-Lee: Tired of this ****
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:44 PM - pacmaniac: Brady should be ****ing 3-4 in Super Bowls, not 5-2
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:44 PM - MadCat: How many teams can say they had two superbowl wins simply handed to them
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:45 PM - C-Lee: Unreal
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:46 PM - pacmaniac: Those 3 holding calls on 3rd downs killed Atlanta
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:46 PM - Jz3: ryans a fraud though never was good
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:47 PM - pacmaniac: Alight will Belichick and Brady freaking retire now - they CANNOT top what they just did
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:47 PM - Old Guy: The Packers? Its a shame in close to 20 years with 2 unanimous HOF qbs we can only eeck out 2. Never enough talent or brains around them.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:48 PM - MadCat: Because they are content with the status quo. In other words, as murphy said, we have a chance to be good. Yippee
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:48 PM - pacmaniac: Somehow Brady can win when he's bouncing passes left and right and receivers are dropping passes left and right. If that was happening to Rodgers, we'd get destroyed.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:49 PM - ls1bob: Yeah Murphy's mindset ****** me off
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:49 PM - pacmaniac: Murphy got a shitload of money from the last stock sale, they're good for the next several years at least.
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:51 PM - rodell330: The entire Packers organization needs a revamp. All soft
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:51 PM - MadCat: i am usually optimistic about our future but after hearing both MMs and TT at the end of the season, ugh... What a downer
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:53 PM - pacmaniac: It's amazing we won in 2010. After what I've seen the last 6 years from our org, I feel really lucky that happened - probably shouldn't have happened.

Feb 5, 2017 at 7:54 PM - Old Guy: As long as we have small, slow corners... as long as we don't get tough players, tough guys, we are slow and injury prone again and again and again,
Feb 5, 2017 at 7:57 PM - Old Guy: Maybe we're spoiled, but just waving a winning year with HOF QBs doesn't do it for me. If we were the Lions or Bears or Vikes then maybe your happy. I remember those first few Favre years I was happy they were improving even though they were not in the SB. So I guess I am spoiled

Feb 5, 2017 at 8:01 PM - The program 61: the confetti looks like a bunch of flying *****
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:10 PM - Old Guy: Friggin ground hog and falcons.......now he rest of a long winter in Wisky until opening day. Down to judt rooting for Bucky Badger.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:10 PM - AKCheese: The 3 holding calls were can't not call it calls
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:12 PM - adambr2: As difficult as it is to accept the gap between the Patriots and the rest of the league is just getting wider and wider. No one else is close
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:13 PM - Old Guy: Falcons started making mistakes, playing scared and we know how that ends up. Choke- We've seen it before.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:13 PM - AKCheese: They lose Gronk and win a SB we lose Jordy and we barely make the playoffs
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:14 PM - Old Guy: We draft and sign different types of players. Our coahing staff like all the others is not Hoodie and his boys.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:15 PM - Viper556: Belichek is by far the best in the league. But don't say fire MM. Who would you replace him with? At best it would be a sideways move. The Patriots are simply a cut above everyone else right now. If anyone, we need to get rid of TT and make some better draft picks and free agent moves.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:19 PM - rodell330: Packers defense switched bodies with Atlantas at halftime hahaha
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:21 PM - adambr2: I'd can TT. But it's pretty clear we're trucking on next year with the status quo
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:22 PM - rodell330: TT is as overrated as GMs come. It's amazing how ppl act like Rodgers hasn't carried this team for years.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:23 PM - rodell330: With a below average defense and average run game
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:24 PM - Jz3: We had a good team in 2010 but with all the injurys it was not that great of a team.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:24 PM - Jz3: Favres super owl with White was a very good team. Packers signed Rison when we needed help something they don't do.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:24 PM - Jz3: Packers organization s a joke though
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:24 PM - Old Guy: Way below average run game. All they do well is passblock most of the tiime.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:25 PM - Jz3: Rodgers is a better QB than brady no doubt. But paired with BB thats a deadly combo.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:25 PM - Jz3: Its too late the Packers wasted the 2nd half of Favres career and Rodgers whole career.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:26 PM - Jz3: Even if Rodgers sniffed another super bowl its still disapointing.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:26 PM - Jz3: P Manning was delt the same hand as Rodgers.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:27 PM - Jz3: Matt Ryan though is a choker and a above average QB, but never elite.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:27 PM - Jz3: Brady should of got MVP, followed by Rodgers than Carr.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:28 PM - Jz3: Ryan is not what made that team tick
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:28 PM - Old Guy: It was afamiliar formula. AtlantasO went into a shell and their D wasout there all the time. Did you notice how much time Brady had tothrow in the 3 and 4th qtr with that tired D. Atlanta has no one to blame but themselvesoffensively because that is what their offensebecame--offensive.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:28 PM - Viper556: I agree. Shame Rodgers has to carry the Packers. He just can't do it all, but gets the team just far enough to ensure a low draft pick for next year. Then rinse and repeat.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:29 PM - Jz3: Amazing how the Falcons thought the game was over and they played MM ball.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:29 PM - Jz3: I dn't understand why u dont just play the full 60 minutes
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:29 PM - Jz3: never let up like u have a monster lead.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:29 PM - Jz3: This super bowl was the same level as the Seahawk NFC champ loss
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:29 PM - Jz3: just crazy
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:30 PM - Jz3: never should happen.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:31 PM - Jz3: I smart owner with a HoF QB should always go after a HoF coach
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:31 PM - Jz3: packers could have any coach in the NFL not named BB.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:32 PM - Jz3: MM will get another HC job after he gets fired eventually and he will get fired fast and never be a HC again.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:32 PM - Viper556: Has to be the most heartbreaking loss. Worse than the Packers losing to the Seahawks in the NFC championship.

Feb 5, 2017 at 8:33 PM - Old Guy: Yup, we'll start running the clock....even though you didn't do that all yearand then when you have to pass...ohnp-sack, on no-sack, onno - fumble and yu just get tighter and tighter-Meanwhile your D is getting tired and wore out.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:33 PM - Jz3: I never root for the Pats but I rooted for that comeback
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:33 PM - Jz3: hate how overrated Matt Ryan is
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:33 PM - Jz3: just annoying when a choker gets credit he does not deserve.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:38 PM - rodell330: Give Rodgers the Falcons defense and the Falcons win that game
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:42 PM - Old Guy: Thatmobility in the pocket he used against the packers was not there. The only timehe moved he threw a hope and a prayer and Julio answered it for him. Then he went back to getting sacked in the pocket.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:42 PM - 7thFloorRA: Ryan had a nice season but he had a (1) completely healthy (2) free agent enhanced (3)already stacked offense...with a beautiful indoor turf home surface to play on. The table was set for him and then some.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:51 PM - pacmaniac: Was rooting for Ryan to keep Lombardi as greatest coach and still debatable whether Brady is GOAT. But now there's no question the greatest coach and QB
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:52 PM - pacmaniac: Patriots looked vulnerable this whole postseason, still win all their games. Meanwhile Packers have to play 100% perfect in order to win.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:54 PM - pacmaniac: At least the Packers have one less NFC team to worry about. I thought Atlanta with their young team and improving defense would cause problems for the Packers in the next few years, but not sure Atlanta can mentally recover from this loss.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:55 PM - 7thFloorRA: Pats always shore up their d with vets on 1 yr deals. TT never does. That's the difference.
Feb 5, 2017 at 8:56 PM - 7thFloorRA: Atl will have a hangover, some guys to pay, guys will leave and they will NEVER be that healthy again.
Feb 5, 2017 at 9:08 PM - Old Guy: The one call that has to change in the NFL is when a right side DE does a low rip move on a left D tackle. The tackle always gets called for holding but it was the DE that started that low rip. 2 D tackles called for it at crucial times late in the playoffs, KC had a big play taken away, and theFalcons today. If a tackle extends his arms, and the DE goes with a low rip, it will get called
Feb 5, 2017 at 9:12 PM - 7thFloorRA: I think I'm that situation you have to roll with him and pancake him.
Feb 5, 2017 at 9:14 PM - Old Guy: The KC guy did that and got called for holding. Took away the tying TD I think.
Feb 5, 2017 at 9:17 PM - Old Guy: If you take him to the ground, you will get called. If you stay locked up, because his arm is under yours, it looks like holding. If you release, these guys are so fast, he's by you and your QB gets killed.
Feb 5, 2017 at 9:36 PM - adambr2: Silver lining tonight was seeing the stunned look on Robert Alford's face after the Falcons blew it
Feb 5, 2017 at 9:45 PM - pacmaniac: The Pats are the best organization in the NFL. The funny thing is that most people would probably say the Packers are the second best organization, LMAO.
Feb 5, 2017 at 10:01 PM - adambr2: Probably. Or the Steelers or Seahawks. But the gap between the Pats and everyone else is huge.
Feb 6, 2017 at 12:11 PM - 4zone: Found some interesting stats today. The last three SB's GB played in our Offense was ranked 1st, 2nd & 10th. Our Defenses were ranked 1st, 5th & 2nd. The data shows that Defense played a more significant role in each game. We could win with an offense as low as 10th but could not win with a defense lower than 2nd.
Feb 6, 2017 at 12:17 PM - 4zone: GB's defense over the past 11 years has averaged #15, while our offense has averaged #7.
Feb 6, 2017 at 3:45 PM - Jz3: Stats lie packers have had a bottom 5 defense 9 out of the last 10 years.
Feb 6, 2017 at 3:46 PM - Jz3: Offense ussually keeps teams out of games with Rodgers so defense benefits.
Feb 6, 2017 at 3:47 PM - Jz3: packers organization and local fans suck.
Feb 6, 2017 at 3:47 PM - Jz3: Im starting to hate the packers and sick of allt he stupid ppl.
Feb 6, 2017 at 3:48 PM - Jz3: everyone in Green Bay saying this super bowl sucked and we'll guess the packers can't make it every year saying stupid stuff.
Feb 6, 2017 at 3:48 PM - Jz3: This super bowl was amazing. And the Packers never go to the super bowl.
Feb 6, 2017 at 4:02 PM - desertdog55: Gonna be a long offseason, gotta listen to the Brady GOAT lovefest...grrrrr
Feb 6, 2017 at 4:22 PM - Viper556: I loved the super bowl. Not sure why Packer fans hated it. It was awesome. The Packers are my favorite team and Rodgers my QB, but the Patriots and Brady are 2nd favorites to me. Don't know how you can't at least respect what they have done.

Feb 7, 2017 1:46 PM - C-Lee: Starks cut
Feb 7, 2017 2:22 PM - Vltrophy: Packers cut Starks. Imo Shields will be released or forced to retire due to concussions
Feb 7, 2017 3:22 PM - 4zone: Thank you James. All the best down the road.
Feb 7, 2017 4:00 PM - pacmaniac: Cutting Starks is the biggest move we make? LOL
Feb 7, 2017 4:19 PM - PackerFanLV: When will the packers hire a OC?
Feb 7, 2017 4:51 PM - SeahawkFan80: Never. LOL
Feb 7, 2017 5:17 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Should've kept Starks
Feb 7, 2017 5:39 PM - sdh09e44: no they shouldnt of
Feb 7, 2017 5:41 PM - sdh09e44: that clears out around 3 mil in space, and there is no reason to keep starks around. Like the guy he has been a solid player for us. But it makes sense to get younger and start trying to find a legit RB
Feb 7, 2017 5:48 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: I like Starks and he did a great job for us, and I understand the need to upgrade the position however, that 3 mil TT will just waste on players we don't need.
Feb 7, 2017 6:10 PM - sdh09e44: its the first step to having 47.7 mil in space, Shields is next to get to that number. Then well see what happens. That's a boat load of space for a nfccg team
Feb 7, 2017 7:40 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Jets claim Pennell off waivers, watch he'll be a Pro Bowler next year

Feb 7, 2017 9:19 PM - adambr2: Falcons canned their DC and D line coach today. As much as that D improved near the end and they still weren't afraid to make changes.
Feb 8, 2017 5:48 AM - 4zone: Talk about knee jerk reaction
Feb 8, 2017 11:27 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: wrong guy, they shoulda axed Kyle Shannahan instead
Feb 8, 2017 11:42 AM - 4zone: Sam Shields, we missed you this year and will miss you next year and beyond. Good luck and I hope your future will be better than some who have suffered before you.
Feb 8, 2017 1:16 PM - PackerFanLV: Atlanta fired their defensive coordinator
Feb 8, 2017 2:51 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: well nvm, the 49ers hired him. Oh well, he'll last about 1 year there, that team's going nowhere as long as Jed Dumbo is running that team

Feb 8, 2017 10:51 PM - Poppa San: LTF one more time without the Latin?
Feb 9, 2017 6:10 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I want a star next to my name....
Feb 9, 2017 6:11 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Or at least boldface....
Feb 9, 2017 10:44 AM - longtimefan: Seinfeld episode
Feb 9, 2017 11:39 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Personally I'm a bit surprised Atlanta had a separate defensive coordinator and not Quinn himself calling the shots
Feb 9, 2017 11:40 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I'm wondering if perhaps he didn't fire the guy because he decided he was going to call the shots on D himself now
Feb 9, 2017 12:07 PM - Vltrophy: I know it'll change 20-30x but as of now the mock draft 2.0 has the Packers drafting TJ Watt OLB. JJ's brother. If he's half as good as his bro he'd be a great addition to our pass rush. But unless the Packers sign a CB in FA I see the Packers drafting a CB in the first rd
Feb 9, 2017 1:06 PM - SeahawkFan80: Carolina, I wonder if they went soft zone in the second half to prevent the win defense. And upon further review....he got fired. Also since he was hired by SF, maybe he was let go to make it look inobvious to the masses.
Feb 9, 2017 3:26 PM - PackerFanLV: seahawk its funny the falcons been winning all year long with offense but the moment the offense doesnt do that great in the 2nd half of the SB they fire the D coordinator.
Feb 9, 2017 4:04 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Shannahan is gone too though at least, which I know he got a ton of credit for the Falcons O, but I still think it was a product of exceptional offensive talent
Feb 9, 2017 4:05 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I mean Ryan shouldn't have taken that sack, I know that, but Shannahan was calling stupid plays and he had 2 stellar RBs to go to
Feb 9, 2017 4:15 PM - SeahawkFan80: Valid Point Lv. And Carolina....shanahan caught the bevel bug. stupid plays that they would never expect but they expected them after all so they needed different plays on third down like not passing plays for negative 5 yds. LOL
Feb 9, 2017 4:16 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: bad thing is if Shannahan fails his first year in SF, I'm thinking he's likely not to get the heat for it, it'll be the 49ers terrible owner that does, which in a way I'd have to agree, cuz he is working now for a pretty terrible owner, 2nd worst only to Haslem in Cleveland
Feb 9, 2017 4:16 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: but I still think Shanny Jr is highly overrated as an OC
Feb 9, 2017 4:17 PM - SeahawkFan80: He will lose the first year. It is inevitable...as he has not set his needs and desires in place yet. After 3 years he should be up to at least a 9 win season if not more or be gone ya.
Feb 9, 2017 4:18 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I think he's capable of 9 wins if he has the right players, but I just can't see him winning big games
Feb 9, 2017 4:19 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: question is whether anyone gets three years in SF considering the firing spree that old hack owner Jed York has been on
Feb 9, 2017 4:19 PM - SeahawkFan80: I have not checked but think that a good portion of the team bailed on him after this season was over. retired or looking for a way out.
Feb 9, 2017 4:20 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: i mean having 4 coaches in just 4 years .... that's just about outdoing the old senile neighbor he used to have across the bay
Feb 9, 2017 4:21 PM - SeahawkFan80: and that was after he moved the team 4 times back and forth because of the sun exposure.....at night. LOL
Feb 9, 2017 4:22 PM - SeahawkFan80: And now they are not going to Vegas too....dang that team is in the rut.
Feb 9, 2017 4:22 PM - SeahawkFan80: I know....Send the Raiders to play in Hawaii.......
Feb 9, 2017 4:23 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: well I don't know why they'd even consider that, there's no nfl fan base down there, and only the rich fans are gonna be buying tickets to head that way
Feb 9, 2017 4:23 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: crazy thing a move to Hawaii might actually work in their favor
Feb 9, 2017 4:23 PM - SeahawkFan80: Every away team would go to a game there....if the tix price was not too spendy.
Feb 9, 2017 4:24 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: cuz they already got a stadium there and Honolulu is pretty big population wise
Feb 9, 2017 4:25 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: probably already got fans there too
Feb 9, 2017 4:25 PM - SeahawkFan80: The bad thing is that would be about the same as Vegas. A lot of transient fans just there for a warmer upper. Vegas would be for a warmer upper and a bit of gaming.
Feb 9, 2017 4:26 PM - SeahawkFan80: And I think it is more spendy in hawaii.
Feb 9, 2017 4:31 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: maybe
Feb 9, 2017 4:32 PM - SeahawkFan80: Also the time differencial is worse in hawaii.....Would never get past the 10am guys.

Feb 10, 2017 at 4:08 PM - Jz3: Can prob take away every super bowl appearance from the Hawks.
Feb 10, 2017 at 4:09 PM - Jz3: I seriously think Rodgers is on another level than Brady. Can't imagine what BB would do with Rodgers. Probably win the super bowl 10years in a row.

Feb 14, 2017 at 8:25 AM - Zartan: Its a low period. Nothing to talk about.
Feb 14, 2017 at 8:27 AM - Zartan: When TT does nothing when FA opens the forums will be swimming in TT sucks post.
Feb 14, 2017 at 8:29 AM - Zartan: I dont think signing Randy Moss would of went over well with the fanbase. After that mooning thing he did.
Feb 14, 2017 at 9:48 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: ohh boy let's not bring that up again
Feb 14, 2017 at 4:33 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I mean the whole signing of Moss thing because I am ****ing glad we didn't, and not because of the mooning thing, but because that guy had no idea how to be a team player
Feb 14, 2017 at 7:33 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Man this Packer Brother guy, who the hell is he? I mean is he like such a damn ignoramus that he doesn't even know that the Packers are a fan owned team that doesn't move? And this Bostick stuff, where the hell is he coming up with the notion that Packer fans are being vindictive on him? Jeezus this guy's on a roll

Feb 16, 2017 4:03 AM - adambr2: So what would everyone think of TJ Watt at #29?
Feb 16, 2017 6:44 AM - Zartan: Eh no
Feb 16, 2017 6:45 AM - Zartan: Maybe if he is still there at Round 3
Feb 16, 2017 7:17 AM - adambr2: Really? If we got a corner in Rd. 1 and Watt was still there at the end of Rd. 2, think I would jump on him.
Feb 16, 2017 10:24 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: We can trade up in the 2nd to grab Watt. FA CBs will be too pricey and gone within Week 1 of FA
Feb 16, 2017 10:25 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Tabor for our 1st. Trade our 2nd and a 4th
Feb 16, 2017 10:25 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: To grab Watt
Feb 16, 2017 10:26 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Or if it appears Tabor or another Top CB is going to fall out of the 1st, trade out of the 1st Round and get near back to back picks of Tabor and Watt....with a 3rd or 4th Rounder extra to pick later
Feb 16, 2017 10:27 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: It's not entirely out of the picture for Tabor and Jones to possibly slide to the 2nd
Feb 16, 2017 10:55 AM - C-Lee: I want Sidney Jones
Feb 16, 2017 4:01 PM - brandon2348: Sidney Jones is not what they need
Feb 16, 2017 4:09 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Why brandon?
Feb 16, 2017 4:12 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Sidney Jones has amazing measureables and if he blows the combine away he won't make it out of the Top 15. Tabor is probably more of a pure cover guy with the ball skills we need on the outside but Jones just looks more "Packer-esque" if that makes sense. If both were available I expect TT to go with Jones.
Feb 16, 2017 4:22 PM - brandon2348: amazing measurables? he weighs 180. He wont be able to come in and handle no.1's. He will get manhandled. This dude isnt Marcus Peters
Feb 16, 2017 4:23 PM - brandon2348: Thats all we need is another less then physical pac 12 corner to go along with Randle.
Feb 16, 2017 4:26 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: For a 6"0 corner, I can't see him getting any heavier than 190. Plus he appears to have a long build.
Feb 16, 2017 4:27 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Randall played FS in college, before converting to corner. He may have been better suited to stay back there. Plus Jones shut down Ridley from Alabama, so that's something of note. He's also faster than Tabor.
Feb 16, 2017 4:28 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: If Jones were to put on weight, he'd have to be mindful of maintaining his speed.
Feb 16, 2017 4:34 PM - brandon2348: some say he doesnt have the body type to add weight. one of those wirey guys. This guy is gonna end up in the slot somewhere. Not what we need rigjht now
Feb 16, 2017 4:35 PM - brandon2348: Desmond King is a tick slower and 200lbs
Feb 16, 2017 4:36 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Jimmy Smith? Colorado. Patrick Chung? Oregon. T.J. Ward? Oregon. Richard Sherman? Stanford. Su'a Cravens? USC. Eric Rowe? Utah. Eric Weddle? Utah. Dashon Goldson? Washington. Desmond Trufant? Washington.
Feb 16, 2017 4:37 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Less than physical Pac 12 DBs right there....
Feb 16, 2017 4:38 PM - brandon2348: i want them to get a guy that can play now
Feb 16, 2017 4:39 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Desmond King is like a 3rd Round pick. He's a faster Gunter
Feb 16, 2017 4:40 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Guys that can play now are going to be gone by the time we pick at 29th.
Feb 16, 2017 4:42 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Tabor runs 4.49, Jones runs 4.52, Wilson runs 4.5
Feb 16, 2017 4:42 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Jackson runs 4.42 but depending on how his combine is will determine where he lands....he could be the steal of the draft if he falls to the 3rd.
Feb 16, 2017 4:52 PM - brandon2348: this is why i dont think they should go corner round 1.
Feb 16, 2017 4:54 PM - brandon2348: they can basically get the same thing in round 3 that they get at 29
Feb 16, 2017 4:56 PM - brandon2348: demontae Kazee will probably be round 3
Feb 16, 2017 4:57 PM - brandon2348: Corn Elder too.
Feb 16, 2017 4:57 PM - brandon2348: lots of good mid-round prospecrs. they need to get a corner "free-agency"
Feb 16, 2017 4:59 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'm not going to knock your scouting reports but those guys are going later because they are not Day 1 starters
Feb 16, 2017 5:02 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Buy my own estimation there are about 6 Day 1 corners in the draft....you think any half decent GM is going to let a starting CB wait by the phone til Rounds 3 and 4?
Feb 16, 2017 5:03 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Don't get me wrong, there could be a gem lying in wait....but I'm not gonna put purchase future on finding him in the 3rd or 4th

Feb 16, 2017 at 5:04 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: *our...not sure how my phone made that into purchase.
Feb 16, 2017 at 5:09 PM - brandon2348: i know there not day 1 starters. Thats why I said I think they need to get a day 1 cormer in free agancy and draft an edge rusher in 1st round. makes no sense in reachinng for a corner in 1st if he is gonna be someone that needs to be developed.
Feb 16, 2017 at 5:12 PM - brandon2348: those guys are also going later because this may be the deepest draft for corners ever
Feb 16, 2017 at 5:13 PM - brandon2348: Yoi got a guy like Tankersly that you could probably get in 2nd round
Feb 16, 2017 at 5:13 PM - brandon2348: Jourdan Lewis will fill in somewhere too.
Feb 16, 2017 at 5:14 PM - brandon2348: better to get a free agent day 1 corner then roll the dice on a guy in 2nd--3rd round to develop
Feb 16, 2017 at 5:17 PM - brandon2348: which takes me bavk to Desmond King in 2nd round. I really dont know if he will even be there then.
Feb 16, 2017 at 6:08 PM - brandon2348: were not gonna replace Sam Shields with a day 1 starter at pick no. 29
Feb 16, 2017 at 6:10 PM - brandon2348: Time for TT to get off his *** and spend some $
Feb 16, 2017 at 6:20 PM - SeahawkFan80: Yall should probably look at maybe ending the season earlier then...for that draft spot yanno??? :ninja:
Feb 16, 2017 at 6:21 PM - SeahawkFan80: Oh and LV...we are talking about the vaca the third week of June.
Feb 16, 2017 at 7:16 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: But yall are forgetting who is our GM, that FA CB stuff aint happening.
Feb 16, 2017 at 7:16 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: So best bet on a Day 1 CB is the draft.
Feb 16, 2017 at 7:17 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: You guys need to wake up.
Feb 16, 2017 at 7:28 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Fackrell supposedly has some hype, and with the way the draft is set up there should be a quality pass rusher in the 3rd.
Feb 16, 2017 at 7:32 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: The best we can hope for is trading out of the 1st with Wilson, Jones, Jackson, and Tabor still there, then adding them in the 2nd with hopefully another 2nd to grab someone like Wormley or Kpassagnon.
Feb 16, 2017 at 7:37 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Watt, Walker, and McKinley could be there too.

Feb 16, 2017 at 8:09 PM - brandon2348: Charles Harris could be there too. Way more value then the corners that will be available at that time most likely
Feb 16, 2017 at 8:11 PM - brandon2348: rather have him then a 180 pound corner that will get "mismatched" all season long
Feb 16, 2017 at 8:39 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: How heavy do you want a corner to be? A DB over 205 is more likely to play nickel or safety. The average NFL CB is 5'10.
Feb 16, 2017 at 8:43 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: 3-4 OLB/DE isn't as deep as CB this year, however because of the last 2 drafts they won't fly off the boards as quickly, CBs are just CBs, playing style may differ, but they'll be doing roughly all the same things.
Feb 16, 2017 at 8:44 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: The Packers are one of only a few teams who whiffed twice at the position in the same amount of years. There should be plenty of value in the 2nd to 4th Rounds
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:17 AM - brandon2348: I dont want a db over 205 but 6'0 180 I think is just too undersized as far as the "body". we need a guy to body up against no.1's and I dont trust a 180 pound rookie to do that. I dont care how fast he is.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:17 AM - brandon2348: a *cornerback* i mean
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:31 AM - brandon2348: Sam Shields for example was a little shorter and thicker which is key for bodying up against bigger receivers. Not saying Jones cant get there but he isnt right nos.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:31 AM - brandon2348: *now*
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:38 AM - SeahawkFan80: How Bout 6'3", 195? Not too much different than 6'0 180.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:46 AM - brandon2348: thats a huge difference because there is so much nore length there to leverage.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:47 AM - brandon2348: now your getting into a completely different type of corner that is designed to play press and talke space in zones
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:48 AM - SeahawkFan80: You could be right if the wingspan is there. Speed is a great thing but using leverage is a better option.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:53 AM - brandon2348: many agree with that but with the scheme Capers runs corners need to have close to elite speed to run with receivers downfield. Its more of a man to man type scheme.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:54 AM - SeahawkFan80: In our run on the way to 48, we played a lot of press man. Now we play a bit of half and half and partial zone.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:55 AM - brandon2348: Shields played on an island against others teams 1's.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:56 AM - SeahawkFan80: Sherman could have but the rest of the cornerback squad did not have the speed and the capability.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:56 AM - brandon2348: thats true but you guys had an "elite pass rush rotation" that help make that whole thing work.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:57 AM - SeahawkFan80: Agreed. If there is no time in the backfield, then press man works.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:58 AM - brandon2348: you also had Earl Thomas to allow a lot of different things back there. he allowed guys like Chancellor to play "short stop"
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:59 AM - SeahawkFan80: Two in space makes a lot of difference. Especially if you can play cover 1.
Feb 17, 2017 at 8:00 AM - brandon2348: yep
Feb 17, 2017 at 8:00 AM - brandon2348: The packers simply dont have the personnel to do all that
Feb 17, 2017 at 8:01 AM - SeahawkFan80: Do you think that is the way to go? or is there another method that would use your people more creatively?
Feb 17, 2017 at 9:20 AM - brandon2348: for the seahawks or the Packers?
Feb 17, 2017 at 9:28 AM - SeahawkFan80: You guys.
Feb 17, 2017 at 9:28 AM - SeahawkFan80: Back in a while. Have work to do and lunch..
Feb 17, 2017 at 9:55 AM - brandon2348: we dont have a single high safety like Thomas. We dont have a press corner other then maybe Gunter. We dont have LB's that are fast enough and we dont have a D-line that can get enough pressure with 4 guys rushing. Capers "smoke in mirror" defense is the best we can do right now.
Feb 17, 2017 at 9:56 AM - brandon2348: *smoke and mirror*
Feb 17, 2017 at 10:02 AM - brandon2348: Packers should trade Ladarius Guntet to Seahawks for Jeremy Lane. Lane would help us more and Gunter fits the mold more of what Seahawks like to do outside
Feb 17, 2017 at 2:45 PM - SeahawkFan80: I take it Gunter could play press man and if need be some medium zone?
Feb 17, 2017 at 3:01 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Gunter can't really play press man, if he doesn't jam the WR entirely off the route he's going to get beat deep every time. Dez bullied Gunter all game in the divisional.
Feb 17, 2017 at 3:01 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Julio just blew past him.
Feb 17, 2017 at 3:01 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: We would have to give up a pick for Lane, and he's not worth it.
Feb 17, 2017 at 3:02 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Gunter is a solid tackler from what I've seen, and he does have good instincts, he should move to safety. But Brice lays the wood much better than Gunter....faster too.

Feb 17, 2017 at 4:41 PM - brandon2348: Gunter coiuld play opposite side of Sherman against "2's"
Feb 17, 2017 at 4:43 PM - brandon2348: I think Brice has a great future. I'd like to see him push Dix down closer to the box
Feb 17, 2017 at 6:40 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Gunter got burned by Terrance Williams and Mohammed Sanuk. Cole Beasley also juked him out of his shoes a couple times on post routes.
Feb 17, 2017 at 6:40 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Gunter is a SS at best in the NFL
Feb 17, 2017 at 6:58 PM - SeahawkFan80: I would rather see us draft or acquire a CB that can handle all the duties opposite of Sherman. Sanu is decent but not great....Beasley has become a go to guy for Dallas....Williams I cant recall. So Gunter is probably out in my mind.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:10 PM - SeahawkFan80: Thanks for the input guys/ladies...Much appreciated.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:15 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Gunter is a guy who I'd love to hang around on the PS for depth purposes. But his ceiling is WAY too low. There are CBs in the Rounds 4-6 with better potential.
Feb 17, 2017 at 7:18 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: What's funny is that I could see Gunter going to the Pro Bowl in a scheme that incorporates a ton of Cover 2 and Cover 4, lmao

Feb 20, 2017 9:36 AM - Zartan: I dont see Gunter making the 53 man roster next season.
Feb 20, 2017 10:21 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: But I'd love him as a PS player for injuries. I don't mind him in a SS/Dime back role
Feb 20, 2017 10:21 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Or even a special teamer
Feb 20, 2017 2:25 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: I know the Dolphins are a few picks before us, but I'd have easily dealt a 5th-7th for Thomas to see what he can do. I'd love to see MM run an Ace Big formation with Thomas and Cook.
Feb 20, 2017 5:57 PM - The program 61: lol favre >rodgers he isnt eligble for PS
