Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pokerbrat2000" data-source="post: 929889" data-attributes="member: 7261"><p>You mean like 6 feet apart flag football?  Let's face it, if Football wasn't such a popular sport and mega billion dollar business, it would have been shut down.  I will say the NFL, NBA and MLB did an ok job last seasons with no fans or very limited fans in the stands.  But as we saw in those sports and at the Summer Olympics, the fan element adds a huge layer to it.  Unfortunately, it also adds a huge uncontrollable layer to it.  Players, coaches, personnel, they can all be required to follow safe guidelines, with consequences if not followed.  Those guidelines help reduce the dangers quite a bit.  Trying to do that with packed venues of screaming fans, you might as well just take the lids right off the beakers and let everything leak into the experiment.</p></blockquote><p></p>
