Message: <blockquote data-quote="Phazael" data-source="post: 792522" data-attributes="member: 13193"><p>I personally think we should have kept him and dumped the inconsistent and injury prone Cobb.  Jordy led the team every year except for two.  The first is the season he did not play and he had a career year the following season.  The second was under the mighty passing attack of Brent Hundley.  But its not like he is the first decent Packer we have let go to save a couple bucks on our enormous cap space, only to see perform at a high level for a good while on another roster.  Jury is still out on Cook and a couple guys (Feast Mode and Jennings) needed to go.  But Woodson, Nelson, and even Kuhn were all fan favorites who went on to do well with their teams when we could have just rode them out for a few bucks more.  That's just off the top of my head and recent history, but the Woodson one is really egregious since we are not exactly known as a team with good DBs.  I get that its a business, but sometimes you get what you pay for.</p></blockquote><p></p>
