Should Asomugha come to the Pack

    I was thinking of Nnamdi playing underneath in cover 2 and Asante Samuel playing nickel back. The fundamental misunderstandings about who these players were is really stunning.

    I would have him here in a heartbeat. He's a great player and don't judge him on his performance as an Eagle. The Eagles had a nightmare situation that Asomugha walked into and that should not reflect on his trade value in any form.

    I still don't agree. He played almost exclusively bump and run in Oakland's system. He's a man-press corner, and this just doesn't fit well into Caper's schemes.

    I can't not judge him on his performance as an Eagle, because that's the extent of his career experience in zone coverage, and that's a lot more similar defensive system to what he would see here than he saw in Oakland.

    Also Asomugha was cut, won't be traded, so I'm guessing you just meant value in general.
