DE PERE -- Mike Sherman will return to the Green Bay area later this month for his first public appearance since being fired as the Packers’ coach.
Sherman, now the coach at Texas A&M University, will speak about leadership and take part in a question-and-answer session at an April 25 program at St. Norbert College.
The event will take place at 4 p.m. at Old St. Joseph Church on campus. It is organized by St. Norbert students taking the school’s leadership studies minor.

Sherman, 53, compiled a 57-39 record with the Packers from 2000 to 2005. He was fired in January 2006, then spent two seasons as the Houston Texans’ assistant head coach.
