I am happy for Mike, and I am also happy for the Packers as we will save some $$$ here..We will only pay him the difference between the $$ we were supposed to pay and what he will be getting from the Texans!!!

Web Page Name

This also tells me that Sherman is a good, decent and honest guy with a true love for footbal....

A lot of folks would have taken a couple of years away from work and still make a lot of money

Mike signed a $2,000,000, 3 year contract with the Texans.

It is structured to pay:

$300,000 for the first year -- leaving the Pack owing $3,100,000;

$400,000 for the 2nd year -- leaving the Pack owing $3,000,000;

$1,300,000 for the 3rd year -- when the Pack will owe nothing.

:wink:

Only kidding!!!!

I haven't heard the numbers yet, but would not be surprised if it were structured in such a way as maximize the dollars that T.T. owes him.

Good for Sherman. He would've driven his wife nuts, sitting around the house for a year. But it's funny how little concern this is to me. Right after Sherman got fired, I was really interested in finding out where he wound up, but now he is just a tiny dot in the rear view mirror. No disrespect to Sherman. It just goes to show how quickly things change.

Good luck to Coach Sherman and let's hope he has more things to do on the Texans sidelines instead of chew on a pen and have the "deer in the headlights" look on his face!
