He was a great asset to the Packers for many years, and when you read about his life and career he seemed like a quality guy. I never understood why he didn't get a chance with the Packers or another team. Sometimes all it takes is a rumor to ruin a career.Rhodes was pretty bad to get fired after one season. I seem to remember being at a home games vs the Panthers that season. We endured a woeful loss, that seemed to embody the entire season. Rhodes was a pretty good DC, but the head coach job is SO MUCH different than being a coordinator. You go from Xs and Os to politics, press conferences, and managing egos....on top of all the little things. Rhodes struggled.Lewis seemed like he had the goods to be a great HC, but we'll never know. At this point I'll just thank him for what he did to bring the Lombardi trophy home to Green Bay.</blockquote>
