This is why picking up a free agent holdout half way through the season is not a great idea. They are not in playing shape and wont be for at least a few weeks which takes you to the end of the season. By that time you don't want to disrupt any chemistry you might have on your team unless your the Bills and have no chemistry.

Yeah, we posted about this yesterday in the Shawne Merriman thread. I haven't seen how serious the injury is yet, but either way, getting hurt at your first practice isn't a good sign.
