First, I thought Rodgers handled the pressure well. He looked average, but under control. Secondly, I think our front seven struggled at times. I know Chris Perry is a decent runner, but there were a couple a plays he made the front seven look like little boys. We need some hole fillers upfront. We need a consistent punter, again preseason, but come on. Lastly, who is gone to fill the role of Rodgers' backup? There is not that much out there and the youngsters are learning, but are not in the mode to be a legitimate backup.

I don't that there should have been that much pressure on Rodgers, given the fact that it was the Bengals, who had a league low 22 sacks last year. For the first team offense to give up 2 sacks in less than a quarter is ridiculous. But you are right about Rodgers. He looked average IMHO, which is not a bad place to be in the first preseason game.
