as McCarren and Laravee were saying, he could do better with his blocking reads, but he has a lot of talent, and time to be coached/learn. Nice fantasy points for a 3rd stringer at Liberty :)

you just gotta love his 2nd and 3rd efforts to pick up a couple extra yards (without fumbling.)

Kids like this sure do a lot more for the NFL than all the T.O.'s and Moss' of the world.

Gotta love Samkon, although I have to mention that he fumbled twice, and if his teammates hadn't recovered both of them we could right now be talking about how he blew the game. Also, I think the O-line is finally beginning to settle down. He had some good holes to run through. I love his humble attitude. Guys like this make football worth watching even when your team is out of the hunt.

I am sorry. I just had to laugh out loud at this post GreenNGold.

God knows I love a positive attitude.

Let me add another realistic senario:

Samkan is on pace to break Eric ****erson's record of 2,105 yards in a season if he can just rush with an average of 220 yards the rest of the season....and one game of 437 yards rushing.

He looked good... Great heart.

25 attempts- 103 Yards- Longest run 17 yards- 2 TD's 4.12 YPA and 2 fumbles.

This thread is like the Pack have just found the Holy Grail. Guy's I am just as excited as you, but the nick names, and thoughts of breaking records are a little ahead of time here.

Are we that desperate here on this forum to blow this out of reality?

let's not get too excited about him breaking Holmes' record.

Good call Greg. The 1st fumble was before the network switched to the GB game and the 2nd was after my nephew came over and he was too slow at changing the channel back to the game so I missed both of them.
I am just now looking at the teams stats.

I think that was the telling sign that Ahman was slowing down before his injury. None of the backs have had great blocking this year, but Ahman wasn't breaking as many tackles as he use too.

The running game wasn't dominate, but it was still very effective and productive. It helps take a huge weight off of Brett's shoulders too if he can count on an effective running game to complement him.
