Rules question about Eagles game

    Isn't there a rule that if a player fumbles the ball into the endzone, he is the only player from his team who can recover it. Otherwise it goes back to where it was fumbled. Obviously not from what happen in the Eagles game, but I swear there was a rule like that.

    There is a rule like that the precise ruling I can not state. That goes back to the Raider/Charger game in the early eighties I think. Casper fumbeled the ball and threw it in the end zone where a raider recovered it for the the game winning as time ran out.
