Here's my initial gut feeling on this week's picks -----
Buffalo beats New Orleans Jacksonville over Denver Tampa Bay stomps Detroit Cincinnati beats Houston Indianapolis over Tennessee New England on top of San Diego Washington beats Seattle (iffy pick, I know, but Holmgren always has a hard time on the road) NY Giants beat St. Louis (Manning on the rise) Baltimore gets an easy one with the Jets (Pennington is out for the year) Oakland gets past Dallas (Raidahs at home - big time) Atlanta over Minnesota (Daunte is no Ron Mexico) San Fran wins over Arizona Carolina beats Green Bay (Sorry guys - gotta call 'em like I see 'em) Monday night points will be 27 - at least that's what I think the total score will be...
Packers Defense is stepping up and while Favre is famous for Monday Night Football greatness - it didn't happen last year with one of thee biggest blowouts the Packers have ever suffered on a MNF game, at home no less.... - thanks, Shermy... no really! So this time around, I see us playing tough on D, but the O-line is porous and you don't really think Mike Wahle has any allegiance to the Packers in any way... well, do ya? He's very well versed with Sherman's HABITS... notice I say "habits"... Well, there ya go! I may re-think the Redskins and Seahawks games - but otherwise, my gut instinct feels pretty good - just gotta go read the Injury reports... and I am outta here.... 8)
