Public Invited To Ceremony; Flag To Join Others On Harlan Plaza
The Green Bay Packers will welcome Rolling Thunder Wisconsin to Lambeau Field Saturday, Aug. 29, for a 2 p.m. ceremony to raise the POW/MIA flag on Harlan Plaza.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
"We're honored to have the opportunity to fly the POW/MIA flag at Lambeau Field on Harlan Plaza," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "We appreciate the sacrifices men and women have made while serving our country in Vietnam and elsewhere, and have the utmost respect for those that were prisoners of war, and those that are missing in action. We are proud to have a POW/MIA flag join the other flags on the plaza, as well as the POW/MIA flag inside the stadium."
"The members of the Vietnam Veterans Local 224 community wish to thank the Green Bay Packers organization for welcoming us to fly the POW/MIA flag in front of Lambeau Field," said Michael Edwards, president ..
