Message: <blockquote data-quote="Magooch" data-source="post: 988879" data-attributes="member: 17987">I have seen a lot of people taking issue with that but I think that particular quote as it's been circulating is lacking a little bit of context.Right before that he talks about how in 2019 lots of people were saying he was washed up or "doesn't have it anymore" or finished or whatever and then went on to get two MVPs...and now a lot of people are saying the same thing, that he's past it, washed, not a top player any more, etc....And then immediately followed that up by saying there wouldn't be any point in coming back to GB if he didn't think they could win it all...I understand why it may leave a bad taste for some but in the greater context I think it’s pretty clear that this particular quote was just about pushing back on the notion that Rodgers is finished, not that he’s solely focused on individual accolades above everything else</blockquote>
