Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pokerbrat2000" data-source="post: 907920" data-attributes="member: 7261">I am in the camp that this doesn't get resolved.  Not because the Packers don't want it to, but because Rodgers ego won't allow it to.  I think he has already drawn his line in the sand and if the trade demands are legit, he won't back off that.  That line gets wider and wider every day that he allows this to continue too, which I think he wants.Money is nothing but a statement to Rodgers at this point.  It doesn't buy him anything that he doesn't already have or can't buy, but more of it in a contract makes a statement that "I am respected, values and the best at my craft".  Well if the MVP award didn't say that and he continually needs further and constant validation of it, at the expense of the team and his teammates, then he needs to be shown the door.He has already prepared his statement and it will sound something like this.  "I have privately expressed my dissatisfaction with my situation with the Packer organization and felt we were at an impasse and asked for a trade, which would have been beneficial to both sides.  So I have kept my mouth shut, to allow the Packer organization to do what they do best and work on things behind the scenes to facilitate that.  I can't help it if they haven't come to terms with it, but it is what it is."</blockquote>
