His predictions and arguably IMO reaches on the #62, #94, #136...in the sense I don't think ANY of those players are available at those spots:

#30 Josh Jones, OT (HOUSTON)
#62 Brandon Aiyuk, WR (ARIZONA ST)
#94 Damon Arnette, CB (OHIO ST)
#136 Leki Fotu, iDL (UTAH)
#175 Quintez Cephus, WR (WISCONSIN)
#192 James Robinson, RB (ILLINOIS ST)
#208 Calvin Throckmorton, OL (OREGON)
#209 Tanner Muse, S (CLEMSON)
#236 David Woodward, LB (UTAH STATE)
#242 Cheyenne O'Grady, TE (ARKANSAS)

Am I nuts for this bugging me? LOL

You don't see many guys do a full 7 round mock so it caught my eye.

Probably only due to me being bored does it bug me...

I don't think Fotu falling to the 4th is outlandish, but generally I agree withyou.

So I researched into Fotu more, and apparently outside of a few lesser known draft pundits I apparently am higher on this dude than most. Many do have him around that 4th round...seems late 3rd to mid 5th is the concensus.

Fotu is a good player, but run defense specialist can often go later than expected.

Side note-- this FO ain't drafting no 4.73 wide receiver.

Only problem I see with this mock is Arnette at #94 and even that is not that crazy considering his 40 time.

Josh Jones could easily be there at 30 his kick slide isn't good and there's a lot of depth at OT.

Aiyuk could be gone but he could also quite easily be there not everyone who needs a WR is going to pick a WR Lamb, Ruggs, Juedy, Jefferson, Mims, and Reagor will all likely go before him and Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman, Chase Claypool, Shenault could as well so though I think it could be a slight stretch I don't think it's a massive one.

As I've already addressed Arnette I'll skip to Fotu who I've seen frequently in the 5th in mocks and has zero pass rush production to speak of so I don't think he's that likely to be gone.

Overall I don't personally love the picks but I don't think the mock itself is that unrealistic.

The draft always surprises people. So anything is possible.

However, I don't know what else to call Aiyuk at #62 and Arnette at #94 other than very, very optimistic.

Daniel Jeremiah always says that he does his mock drafts with his ears-- meaning that mocks players based on what he's hearing, not based on what he would do. He has Aiyuk going #24 to the Saints. I could absolutely see him going later than that, or even falling out of round one. But falling all the way to #62 is hard to envision.

Damon Arnette is an accomplished man cover corner with size from probably the best CB program in the country. Maybe if he interviewed terribly, he could fall that far. But it seems unlikely.

Quoting so I don't have to type it myself. Well said.

Like @Dantés said, I try to do my mocks based on what I'm hearing(reading). Now when it comes down to 2-3 players at a selection, THEN my bias takes hold. Whether my bias lines up with Gute or other pundits, we'll never know.

Aiyuk at 62nd is not optimistic at all to me. Aiyuk for me is somewhere between the 47th and 57th best prospect in the Draft. If I ran 10 2-Round mocks using 10 different big boards I'd say I'd get him 50% of the time at that spot. The other 50% I'd say someone traded up to get him. Check the BR Article I just posted in my own thread to see why.

Arnette I'm ******* closer to late 2nd to mid 3rd. This CB class is not very deep. Guys will get over drafted. If guys go "where they're supposed to go", this makes more sense; which is great news for us. Otherwise expect Tramon Williams back in the Green & Gold.

Fotu is solid in the 4th, but I don't like him at all. We need guys who can do both like Kenny. To take Fotu means we need another DL to do what he can't. Offenses will key in on that for an advantage.

Cephus? You're a WR who runs 4.73? Yes? Are you at least 6'4 and 250lbs? No? Sorry but we're not interested.

Robinson at 5'9 is probably not going to cut it for Gute or LeFleur.

Insert Throckmorton at Robinson's spot but like the pick.

Muse will be a hot commodity in the 5th-6th, maybe he's there.

Woodward is meh.

Give me Stephen Sullivan over O'Grady.

Give me Stephen Sullivan over O'Grady.

Sullivan is one of the two TE's in this draft that interest me (the other being Woerner because his blocking ability) .
His wingspan and hand size are just ridicules and he had a really good combine.
He'd be a good pickup anywhere after the start of the 6th round IMO.
